    What sucks though is those belts with the big wide part for the back look like championship belts in wwe lol. The little kid on me gravitates towards that solely for that reason. I wanna walk into the gym with it on backwards, take a water bottle, sip a little bit, look up and spit the mist like triple H lol.

    All kidding aside, I’ve heard many people ay the exact same thing you did. Unfortunately I think it’s just true. So I’ll have to sacrifice what the little kid in me wants because it does make sense to want the support to be even. Otherwise it screws with the core pressure. They sell you on those championship shaped belts because it’s good for "back support" but back support isn’t why we get these belts and thats not even really going to help. Having that little bit of padding there isn’t going to keep hundreds of pounds from bending your spine. Only proper form can do that. So I agree, it’s better to get an even appx. 4 inch or so in width belt. Looks wise though, I’m going with the championship lookin belt all the way lol

    Only use a belt if you’re maxing out. For your normal weight don’t use a belt . A belt actually takes away from your lower back muscle strength. Your muscles need to work in sync you should train functional in real life your lower back muscles work in sync with those other muscles.
