I have been watching your videos since the covid times. Finally, I understand enough to buy a Jackery 2000 with the Lithium iron phosphate battery. I am a good nurse but not a Tech person unless the device is attached to a patient. The Jackery seems simple to use compared to others you have reviewed. It only took me 5 years to buy this solar power station. Thank you.

  8. @KeithCollins-n4n on September 26, 2025 at 12:39 am

Yeah, this is a Jackery infomercial.

  9. @dexterjohansen on September 26, 2025 at 12:40 am

A lot of babbling , and beating around the bush in this video! Why don’t you cut to the chase? Your video is very tiring 😴

  11. @skohaya on September 26, 2025 at 12:43 am

Thank you for this video. It filled in a lot of gaps for me. 😊❤

  12. @Concrete26 on September 26, 2025 at 12:44 am

This guy is so obviously sponsored by Jackery and biased.

  13. @maricogan2903 on September 26, 2025 at 12:45 am

Is it safe to store a small solar power station inside a home, in a closet or under a bed?

  14. @r6u356une56ney on September 26, 2025 at 12:47 am

"solar" generators is REALLY a wrong term for these. They are power *storage* devices. They don’t generate any power, and they can be charged from almost any power, even an actual gas/LP generator. One advantage over an actual generator is that a battery is a lot safer to leave powering a refrigerator overnight or when you’re away from home, and it can be used indoors. A generator needs to be outside, and it shouldn’t be run completely unattended. And if the battery gets run down, but there’s no sun (saw a cloudy winter day), you can run an actual generator to recharge while you’re home and available to watch it.

    Thanks!

  16. @allenshepard7992 on September 26, 2025 at 12:51 am

240 volts at less than 20 amps is the minimum for my area. Everyone is on well water. There is no city water nor sewer. The pumps run on 240 volts. Even a small generator to run the pump, wifi, fridge would do.
Also which units have a smart charger of 65W or larger? I found out the hard way laptops will not charge from a normal USB C port. Why convert batteries to 120V only to down convert them to 5V or 15V (USB smart chargers have different voltages)

  17. @peterjonker4795 on September 26, 2025 at 12:51 am

Jackery jackery and nothing else. Pfffff

  18. @cntshootdis on September 26, 2025 at 12:54 am

I wonder if you can help me figure out what I need. I have tried using the spreadsheet and am not sure that I am doing it right. I am doing a conversion on a van and need to be able to run a 9500btu roof ac and 2 small fridges. I am hoping to get a good 6 hours. The fridges have an input of 90w each and the ac has an input of 1370w. I think what is messing me up is surge needs vs running needs. I don’t have information on either product to know what is required. The ac has a soft start, so it should not need huge draw to start up. It does say that the ac has a max amp draw of 14.6 and full load at 12.6 amp if that helps. Also, can these be set up to charge from the alternator while driving? Any help you can give will be helpful.Thank you

Great Video, I use the Ecoflow Delta 2 Max w/ 2 Extra Battery, 1500W of Portable Solar Panels, 5000W LPG Inverter Generator & Manual Transfer Switch for Essential Home Backup. Also use the Ecoflow River 3 Plus Wireless w/ Extra Battery 600 for Portable Power as Needed.

When I downloaded the tool you provided, the spreadsheet opened up in view only mode. Is this a me problem or can you post another link where I can enter values into the calculator?

Great video, and really nice to do comparison for these brands, How about the battery station with gasoline generator and solar generator all in one? Continuous power supply, no need buy gasoline&battery station seperately, one device meet all demand, and easy operation.

  30. @ThomasMorris-f2n on September 26, 2025 at 1:12 am

    Thank you so much

  31. @nsyart on September 26, 2025 at 1:14 am

Thank you for such an informative video. I like that instead of doing a comparative video, this is an educational video that lets us make informed decisions based on our own needs and budgets.

  32. @247lovestodance on September 26, 2025 at 1:18 am

Thank you for the great information. You answered many of the questions I had about the different devices. I’ve used a small generator for camping and am now looking to up my game to backup for at home. Very practical info/advice

Could i get the link to the spreadsheet.

We have just purchased the jackery homepower. Waiting for delivery. Your explanation make it simple to understand. Thank you!!!!!

  35. @YesItsNotMe on September 26, 2025 at 1:21 am

Its very obvious he IS a Jackery fan! I ponder then why he showed multiple brands on his thumbnail. I consider that deceptive.

  36. @dennisbohner6876 on September 26, 2025 at 1:21 am

I was thinking that a hybrid system, a solar unit will sort out the bumps in supply and a fuel-powered unit for the longer outages. Using the fuelie to charge the solar unit would allow for noise control. Anybody in on this?

  37. @celiatandy1395 on September 26, 2025 at 1:21 am

I see multiple negative reviews on Jackery.

  38. @BSD2000 on September 26, 2025 at 1:22 am

I need to run a Dell server that draws about 280W continuously, 24/7, 365 days a year. Ideally, I’d like it 100% solar powered, but I don’t mind if it draws from the home AC to top off the batteries on cloudy days. But it needs to be self regulating – running off battery, charging, and switching to home AC when needed. I can’t find an online calculator that makes any sense and I don’t see any videos that fit my use case. The server is in my garage and I have a decent amount of square footage on the roof for panels. Can anyone steer me in the right direction?

  44. @72SeaHag on September 26, 2025 at 1:26 am

I guess we know which brand paid for this video… considering he claims to have tested nearly all of them yet only has Jackery for this video.

  46. @kimosterhoudt9741 on September 26, 2025 at 1:26 am

Question. I have a 8000 watt gas generator, surge of 10,000. Can I charge 4 jackery 2000 plus units, at the same time? the gas generator has 4 plug-ins. or should I do 2 at a time? I live in northern Minnesota and cloudy, short winter days are a thing.

  47. @YZ250ama on September 26, 2025 at 1:27 am

I have a battery generator with extra pod but it’s not enough battery supply for my RV. I want to add two lithium batteries and plumb them into my solar battery generator system. How would you do this correctly? Thanks for helping.

  48. @Tentman4fun2 on September 26, 2025 at 1:27 am

What about car chargers and things like that that charges will charge your solar generators while driving down the road what do you think about those

  49. @Khawakhawana7601 on September 26, 2025 at 1:28 am

I like your show lit of stuff to learn, but there is one thing I do not agree with yoh. The fridge you showed uses at least 600 watt-h, .6kwh, and with the generator you have at 1.1 kwh the fridge will last only about 1.5 hours, if the compresdor run constantly. Since the fridge does not run all the time. If we suppose it runs 1/3 of every hour, your generator will not last more than 5 hours. It cannot run 24 hours. You would need a generator that is 5 times stronger to run that fridge for 24 hours. Sorry no offense just corecting an error. You are very knowledgable about solar.

It definitely looks like this guy favors Jackery. Personally, I favor ecoflow delta units. I still give him a thumbs up for this video.
