Today I got my #primedaydeal! The #fosiaudio BT30D-Pro #hifi #geekytechycool
I did a bunch of searching before I decided on this #amp. I’ll tag each #channel I found value in below with a summary of what I learned. Go give them a #watch if you’d like to know more.
@SpecOfTech – This amp can punch above it’s weight class driving larger speakers
@andrewrobinsonreviews – This amp and others like it are NOT HiFi on a budget (I commented with my thoughts on his video, go take a look)
@techderaudios – One of the only videos I was able to find in English with this unit powering a passive sub (looked to be a “boom tube” of some sort typical in car audio applications)
Overall I’d recommend this amp if you’re like me; looking for a more compact and versatile way of putting together a garage stereo on a budget that has acceptable #sound and little to no fuss.
Great for a garage…for any other use you’ll want to add an equalizer like a dbx 231 or similar to get some sort of bottom out of these toys.
Does it have a remote?
Aptx HD? I pay an extra for that ultra hd content, I want to be able to render it on my speakers…
A "subwoofer in a box…?" Do you mean an active sub with an internal amp? Surely not a passive sub.
That Sony doesn’t play under 40 kilohertz
I am not saying that SONY is much, its low model for sure, but that tiny Fosi can not sound as good, am I right?
I want that sony receiver ๐
Can you make a video on how to wire it up
I have a Fosi BT20 and a Fosi BT30D pro and they are alright. The BT20 makes an intermittent buzz thats become annoying. I contacted Fosi about it and they had me do the usual troubleshooting things like change where its plugged in, check the input, test to see if the problem persists in BT and if the input is disconnected etc etc etc… the buzzing continued to intermittently come on and off no matter what we tested or disconnected. Now they want me to pull the amp apart to inspect internal components! I told them no, I wasnt pulling anything apart, I dont have the time, inclination, skills, or tools to do that. I flat out told the yesterday to replace the unit or dont, its their warranty that will mean nothing to consumers if they realize Fosi will do ANYTHING to shake you loose so they don’t have to honor their warranty. I got an email lastnight at 3am asking if I can confirm its white noise. If it isn’t white noise they will send me a new BT20 amp board. I told them that would not be acceptable to me for the reasons already explained. They either honor their warranty or don’t. Send me a replacement and I will return the malfunctioning unit in the same box the replacement comes in. We’ll see what I get back from them at 3 am tonight.
So far I’m pretty happy with this little guy, haven’t picked up a passive sub yet, but I’ll update when I do. Being able to slim down my setup with such a small solution is pretty awesome, not to mention that I was able to get rid of two pieces of equipment (the receiver and BT adapter) and replace it with one.
Are those speakers CR9โs?
What wires do you use for the subwoofer? I have a 12 inch q logic sub and I just bought this fosi audio amp.I think I lost my wires for the subwoofer, havent used it in over 20 years.
Give a try on aiyima t9 pro, todn cables silver ans put 5654w valves
good vid ,might go down to 2 ohms , is 4-8 in the manual
Yo can i have your old one? I couldn’t afford to buy one for me stereo system i hope you come across this comment and accept my request thank you๐
My BT20a Pro just arrived today ๐
How much was it on the prime day so I can set an alert if it ever happens again
Weโre is your 12v dc input for car audio. I donโt see a 80 amp fuse
When your gf says you have a little one…and you proceed to brag about it.
