The Bigscreen Beyond is one of, if not the BEST VR headsets on the market, better than the Apple Vision Pro, the Meta Quest 3 and Meta Quest 3s (depending on who you ask).. But somehow they’ve made it even better.

Playstation VR2 can be bought for 400$
2000 x 2000 pixels per eye, oled, 120 hz and the software is currently stable (it wasn’t half a year ago).

    Money pit.

  3. @DharkBizkit on June 19, 2025 at 5:33 pm

4:08, which means prescription insert will make it even worse, especially if you need strong prescription

  4. @Plazman on June 19, 2025 at 5:34 pm

Sorry BigScreen, I’m sure I’ll be buying a lot of VR headsets in the future, but NONE of them are going to be tethered.

  5. @Gio_Panda on June 19, 2025 at 5:34 pm

A note about refresh rate in VR:

For VR it’s important to have high refresh rate but for different reasons than your standard gaming monitor.
Beat Saber is always mentioned when talking about this issue for example, and I think that’s misplaced. I’ve reached top 500 world on Beat Saber with a 72hz capped quest 1 before switching to 90hz, and there are examples of players in the top 50. You don’t need high refresh rate to be competitive on Beat Saber. What you do need high refresh rate for is comfort and immersion.

$1,000 US. not saying it’s not worth it. You need a serious rig to drive this to it’s limits. IMO.

  7. @viixby9481 on June 19, 2025 at 5:36 pm

Some people naturally see higher framerates than others, additionally some people are more prone to motion sickness than others. These are simple, scientifically proven things.
Now… WHY, are we capping refresh rate on "premium" priced headsets at 90Hz?
It’s a screen strapped to your face, not a monitor, the refresh rate NEEDS to be faster, for some people it’s not a big deal, for others it’s EVERYTHING, whether they want it to be or not.

    Learned a lot here!

  9. @OriginalMergatroid on June 19, 2025 at 5:37 pm

For over $1000 US, I’ll stick with my 49" OLED, thanks anyway.

  10. @olumcul7035 on June 19, 2025 at 5:38 pm

bruh quest 3 really better than i thougth its relatively cheap its a stand alone 120hz also pcvr compatible i mean its gotta arguably be the best starter vr is there

Eyetracking is (mainly) for VRCHAT users and is something WE want and WE are the ones who will use this headset more than anyone else in any other use case scenario for VR.

Big Applause to them for acknowledging what matters to its most important users.

  13. @TheMrComentarista on June 19, 2025 at 5:42 pm

I did not even understand what’s the cool thing about them other that they are light, I feel like everything else they talked about were the bad parts…?

  14. @yamatsukami987 on June 19, 2025 at 5:45 pm

man, have they dropped a new VR game in the last 5 years….

  15. @arech1778 on June 19, 2025 at 5:46 pm

It’s wild that the only widely available headset with 144Hz displays is still Valve Index which came out in 2019, especially given that there are studies that correlate very high refresh rate with lower or completely eliminated VR induced nausea and other unwanted effects.

its still far too expensive….im not paying £1300 and waiting 3 months for it. Get real

  27. @nekomanz on June 19, 2025 at 6:05 pm

70% of the people playing VR are only on social games so yes eye tracking is important and these company’s know that it is cues its such a highly requested feature. Also it might 75 FPS but if its set to that your going to see 10%-20% less so that’s very bad…

  28. @Mafiik11 on June 19, 2025 at 6:06 pm

5 more years and the cost will hopefully come down sub 500euro

  29. @MxGiK3HuNNxNo.1FAN on June 19, 2025 at 6:06 pm

3:06 where is this graphic from?, where can i see the comparison between these headsets?

  30. @bucketttsbh13 on June 19, 2025 at 6:09 pm

It sounds like they didn’t change anything; just provided another option for tethered pcvr, a market segment that is spoiled for choice and has a relatively small market segment.
If VR is going to see higher widespread adoption, the quest product line needs a direct wireless competitor that is capable of standalone or pc use. It continues to do the most for pretty much the least. Sure it doesn’t have the absolute best optics on the market, but they’re the only standalone, and the future of VR is absolutely not tethered; not to a PC, not to a console, and not to a wall.

  42. @TheNYG71 on June 19, 2025 at 6:17 pm

Their shipping times are horrible. I’m still waiting for mine after ordering in Jan 31 in which I was upgraded to the BSB2. I will be asking for a refund a week from now. Not worth the wait IMO.

  47. @Hallirune1 on June 19, 2025 at 6:20 pm

Why…. How do you link everything except the main product under review? Have to google the company for the website?

  48. @joeking8262 on June 19, 2025 at 6:21 pm

Is the $70 simple button-up shirt advertisement a joke? I’m a bit lost.

  49. @Savage_Viking on June 19, 2025 at 6:27 pm

I like the small form factor design but I still need higher clarity and greater FOV so at this point I went with a higher end model.

  50. @IanMcc1000 on June 19, 2025 at 6:27 pm

Waiting for the "Linus Shaves His Eyelashes to improve Bigscreen FOV" video. C’mon Linus, you know it’s gonna make GREAT content!!
