I visited my friends house and used his PS VR2 Headset. I tried GT7 and Horizons, but then he let me try Blade and Sorcery on his computer. It requires a PC adapter to use, but it is able to run Half Life Alyx and Blade and Sorcery. Blade and Sorcery made me extremely motion-sick though.
I have the 3s as my first VR headset. Compromises, or not, it’s a damn good starting point for getting into VR!

can i play vr pc games with the meta 3s?
I got the 3s and had an issue often not talked about. The 3s only has 3 settings for eye distance. If your eyes are right in the middle of those distances this can be problematic. For me this caused nausea and it was much more straining to play. I similarly thought it’s a great entry point but I’m returning my 3s right now to get the 3 instead which has a continuous adaption method for the distance.
This of course also is very good for one of the aspects you mentioned often in the video which is sharing the experience with friends. I had hardly and issues with motion sickness or nausea when I played the Quest 3 a handful of time in the past at a friends house. I had focused too much on the specs and the 3S looked pretty similar to the Quest 3 and most notably comes with all the other assets like the controllers. It has the same processing power and actually a longer lasting battery so I thought the 3S would be amazing and if anything slightly less immersive than the 3, but as I said it really wasn’t great for me. I really hope I’ll be much better with the Quest 3 and I didn’t just remember the Quest 3 to be better or less problematic because maybe I played games with less movement or simply didn’t use it that long.
