Great product and most importantly excellent explanation of how all things work together! Now I just need to wait for it to be available!

The control on these are horrible, I installed 3 at a client’s house and am selling them why do you have to go between 2 different apps, high end clients don’t want to toggle between matrio control, hy-fly, and spotify.
Please fix in an update or something, the amps are good and push good sound.

I have 2 of these, they are great. HOWEVER, while you get 8 more inputs when you buy a second unit, they really need to be ganged to the 8 inputs on UNIT 1. This is no big deal, I don’t know anyone who uses 8 inputs, but many people, like me, want one sources to go to all 16 outputs, which you do by a y cable to both DAX88 units. I like this thing, but I too am still learning. I have yet to hvae success in getting Google Nest to connect to the DAX 88. Anyone?

  8. @gilfernandes83 on May 5, 2025 at 1:41 pm

Great product – I noticed the on/off is a manual hard switch control. Will the next model integrate a soft button that can be controlled via google assistance/Alexa to turn on and off seamlessly?

  9. @davidk1501 on May 5, 2025 at 1:42 pm

Can it be controlled via IP commands over Ethernet? or only through RS232 serial port?

  10. @kman8600 on May 5, 2025 at 1:43 pm

  12. @STXVIEC on May 5, 2025 at 1:52 pm

I have a sonance DAB1 which is basically the exact same thing. Ive had it since 2007 & it still works perfectly to this day

What is the best way to connect this to an AVR? My AVR powers my 5.1 system. The AVR would be a source but it is also already connected to my living room speakers.

  16. @wandiletembe on May 5, 2025 at 2:03 pm

    Wonderful

Do zone 7 & 8 (RCA pre-amp outs) go through a ADC in the machine? (does it make sense using a high end dac as input, when using those zones as output, or is the quality affected by another adc +dac?)

  18. @joshishailendra32 on May 5, 2025 at 2:05 pm

Looks Great but how many people can use it.

  19. @1Adam12Kungfu on May 5, 2025 at 2:13 pm

  23. @borissefr on May 5, 2025 at 2:25 pm

Looking forward to test it !! can’t wait ! When it will be released ?

  24. @camiloandresromeromendez5891 on May 5, 2025 at 2:28 pm

Is there a similar product that is more affordable? probably not for 6 to 8 zones, but probably 2 to 4 instead?

  25. @WhoCares2509 on May 5, 2025 at 2:28 pm

Zero responses to any questions here. Looks like phenomenal customer support /s. I would like to know if there is a PA function to broadcast one source to all active zones, and secondly if there is a Home Assistant plugin for the amp, but I doubt I will get any answers here.
