The best integrated amps for 2025 | Crutchfield

Integrated amplifiers give you the connectivity of a preamp and a stereo power amp in one convenient package. They’re designed and built with an emphasis on sound quality, and the single chassis saves space and money over buying separates.

The lines are a little blurred these days between integrated amps and stereo receivers, but more often than not, an integrated amp uses higher-quality power supplies and other internal parts, making them preferred by audio enthusiasts.

We’ve compiled this list in order to highlight some good choices for different situations and budgets, but it’s by no means a comprehensive ranking. You can read our article to see why we chose thses particular models: https://www.crutchfield.com/i-rYTVc34T/learn/integrated-amplifiers-buying-guide.html

I’m waiting for the new Onkyo 50A integrated, expected release 4th quarter 2025 ….come on Onkyo! thanks for the NAD ad Lol

I’m sick of speaker companies going the 4 ohm route. Some of these speakers drop way down to 1.5 ohms during certain frequencies making an amplifier that can drive 4 ohms a necessity rather than a suggestion.

    The house looks so arrogant

Hmm… questionable selections. Two NAD Ints but nothing from Arcam? They are sort of king of this segment with their superb SAxx series or new Axx series.

I had a Cambridge amplifier. It broke after 2 months. They refused to replace it. I had to send it. It came back after 6 months. I had already bought another one and not a Cambridge.

Well… im not totally agree… when u really said “best amp”…, than the most important is amp function itself… thus including input variation, RCA, balance.. and the availabilty of pre out for future expansion… and for esential the ability ease of the amp to drive the speaker… i dont need dac, usb input… they are all will affecting the power supply of the amp… because of you now many company just add something unnecessary feature….

Decent video overall, with some solid info. But dang, you look like the emperor from Star Wars. Who talks that much and NEVER moves their hands? I’m waiting for the chair to spin around so you can watch Luke and Vader go at it 😂.

Surprised you had the Cambridge int smp instead of the Advance Paris A10 or the A12. I know rhere are a myriad of integrated amplifiers in the market, but missing Advance Paris in this list seems like an oversight.

Thank you for this wonderful information,
can I ask about onkyo tx-rz70 or Denon AVR-X8500HA .
I was planning to get one of them. I don’t have much experience in amps.
or just focus on the amps you mentioned in this video.
