Fyi for belroy, their website qas called out recently for dynamic pricing like airlines. You can get cheaper prices by clearing cookies or using private browsing. Their stuff is generally cheaper not directly either way.

U guys miss Goruck bullet 18 double compartment

  3. @Joseph-i4w8v on June 13, 2025 at 6:17 pm

    Timbuk2 Authority when will restock?

"Because a laptop backpack should be as durable as the gear inside it."

    Vapid marketeering language.

"Because an X is only as good as the Y that’s Z", "When it comes to A, don’t settle for anything less than B" etc etc. Followed shortly after by the phrase, "These aren’t just buzzwords." lol

The point though is that a laptop backpack should vastly increase the protection of what’s inside (your laptop). It should dampen falls, hits, and bends because laptops themselves don’t have the space (or heat transferability) to afford a built in foam layer. No one is surprised if a laptop breaks after a 10ft fall, but if a backpack shatters then it’s a terrible backpack.

The kislux looks still good and 1/10 the price of real one. So many people will choose fake. Since during u walk in mall or on the street no1 will stop u and check ur bag from 5cm distance to see these differences. These differences are mostly impossible to see from more than 1-2m away. And be honest. 95% of these people buy these stuffs only to pretend fancy, rich during a walk

I find evergoods to be most comfortable EDC bags my only request is to make a top loading laptop compartment than side loaded. Also I prefer the CTB over the CPL line, fixes the external water bottle problem.

All these bags are winners. You can’t fix the Mission Workshops lack of false floor with 3rd parter foam inserts, or DIY it.

I just haven’t found another backpack like the Osprey Talon 22 ghost. I want a hiking backpack that has a laptop compartment and that has exactly that. There’s nothing else like it on the market.

I’ve been looking for a replacement for my Thule Subterra 23L that I’ve been using religiously since 2020. I’ve been scouring YouTube for reviews of all the packs in this category for weeks and this is the best/most useful I’ve found by far.  The close-up shots on the details are great. Pacing is perfect also. When I buy, I’ll absolutely use your referral link.
As far as my bag hunt goes, I’m shocked at how many "EDC" bags lack either a basic water bottle sleeve or vertical-load luggage passthrough. 2 Non-negotiables for me.

  14. @riteshbokil9585 on June 13, 2025 at 6:30 pm

Loved the video. Please please please also make one for 18 inch laptops

  15. @planb-bg on June 13, 2025 at 6:31 pm

Nice comparison video. But please consider some changes in videography. Dark bags on a gray background in low key light is not a great combo. Big fan of your channel.

  16. @ginobjornabrera on June 13, 2025 at 6:32 pm

brother, you need more lights in your studio.

  17. @dielon9997 on June 13, 2025 at 6:35 pm

Look.. I get it, but…. They’re all the same backpack except the last one haha

  18. @4z8em-.s4z6k2 on June 13, 2025 at 6:36 pm

    Add prices!

  19. @JavierFrancoAlastruey on June 13, 2025 at 6:39 pm

Is it just me or this videos are really dark, brightness to max level and yet I have to squint my eyes to differenciate darker tones

  20. @aijokker on June 13, 2025 at 6:40 pm

    Any options for middle class?

  21. @NomadByNecessity on June 13, 2025 at 6:41 pm

Another great delivery.. vocals more than visual though. 😊
Please, kindly consider an indept expose on the Boundary Supply 15L Errant Sling and Modular Attachments.. it presently seems so badass!

  22. @wayne-x30 on June 13, 2025 at 6:42 pm

All the bags with the exception of the "Black" Amber offer colors other than black…nice.

  23. @tranwc on June 13, 2025 at 6:43 pm

I have an original Camelbak Urban Assault I bought in 2013. It has a laptop pocket with a raised bottom, but I usually put a PS3/PS4 or a portable monitor in that pocket.

  24. @barbioxdogg1 on June 13, 2025 at 6:45 pm

I just ordered the Aer Tech Pack 3

  25. @NushiSama on June 13, 2025 at 6:45 pm

I think for everyday carry especially for work commuting the Mark Ryden Compacto Pro Upgraded version is allot nicer than all of these bags and is only $90

  26. @barberismeable on June 13, 2025 at 6:48 pm

A few of the best design backpacks are Filip Robach & Packolab

  27. @monoecoco5819 on June 13, 2025 at 6:49 pm

Thule is a great option and no one seems to check them out

  28. @wompa70 on June 13, 2025 at 6:52 pm

Good lord! The Rhake is $545! I’ll stick with my low tech but way more durable real leather Mahi backpack for around $150.

  29. @muysantos2859 on June 13, 2025 at 6:54 pm

Save your time and money and get a Case Logic. Trust me had one for 20 years now

  30. @Hervelebaba on June 13, 2025 at 6:56 pm

Quel est la marque et le modèle du portefeuille vu dans le premier sac svp ? Merci

  31. @kennytanaka2000 on June 13, 2025 at 6:58 pm

Surprised there was no mention of larger/smaller versions of these bags for consideration. While the in depth review of each item was great there are similar variants that would be helpful to mention if people wanted more/less. Evergoods CTB line is a nice option with bottle pockets in various liter capacities like the CPL. Aer and Black Ember also have variations.

  32. @WartHawg8196 on June 13, 2025 at 6:59 pm

Does anyone even use this emoji🪬

  33. @aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa913 on June 13, 2025 at 6:59 pm

    Can’t see sh!t

  34. @Tkourtog on June 13, 2025 at 7:02 pm

Stubble & Co Everyday Backpack is missing from this comparison. I believe that it’s an excellent backpack for everyone.

  35. @ashleykruger on June 13, 2025 at 7:03 pm

    No Able Carry Max EDC?

  36. @darkobelisk4076 on June 13, 2025 at 7:03 pm

Us men go crazy needing sail cloth military grade bags just to take a bus lol. But the prices freak me out to be honest. That said – it’s nothing compared to a woman’s handbag for price

  37. @timhuber2814 on June 13, 2025 at 7:04 pm

    First!

  38. @Th3Chuzzl3r on June 13, 2025 at 7:05 pm

These are ridiculously expensive. If you dont want to spend 1/4 to 1/2 a grand on a freakin backpack then I recommend a Targus Drifter. I got one for like 65 bucks 4 years ago and It holds all my IT tools, 2 laptops, and my water bottle. Plus its a tank.

  39. @JL-uu4od on June 13, 2025 at 7:05 pm

As always awesome video. Love the articles too.

  40. @beardedraider4751 on June 13, 2025 at 7:06 pm

  42. @edwardmark9443 on June 13, 2025 at 7:08 pm

    No Goruck GR1 21L?

  43. @Mr.McNolegs on June 13, 2025 at 7:09 pm

Great video. Not sure why people are crying about your lighting. Looked great and consistent throughout. Solid contrasts. Maybe they need better screens or turning their brightness up 😂

  44. @Golaso99 on June 13, 2025 at 7:10 pm

Able Carry Daily Plus needs to be on this list.

  45. @SherwoodTaz on June 13, 2025 at 7:11 pm

I have the Nomatic and Troubadour Apex Backpack 3.0 and frankly don’t love either as they both have strange qwerks and collapsing sections especially when trying to get at quick access pockets on the back. The AER looks interesting albeit costly.
