Yea ring is way better cause it’s been around longer and I just trust it more also because they have better motion detectors and they have a neighborhood alerts

I use Ring. To my knowledge Simplisafe is vulnerable to a exploit, where you can jam the signal using a remote, as it uses 433 mhz.

I recommend SimpliSafe. I had ring cameras, didn’t like the setup. What I like most about SimpliSafe is the live security monitoring that’s on the new cameras. I also love the key fob and added siren alarm. When my alarm goes off, by mistake 😩, it sounds like Fort Knox government security… sorry neighbors

Ring is better because he’s got more features

I’ve had a Ring System for about 3 years now. Recently updated it 2 months ago. I would personally recommend Ring as anyone with a remote can jam the entire system as it used 433 mhz, not to mention ring has nicer designs on their keypad and alarm itself. Go with ring

Vivint is better. If power and Wifi goes out. Ring doesn’t work but Vivint does.

Ring is a must have system. I had a lot of trouble setting up simplisafe, it keeps dropping off of network. Returned it to Costco, got Ring system. A lot intuitive to setup and use

I got a ring for my 16 year old son to prevent him from sneaking out.

They’re pretty much useless if you don’t have a subscription, just keep that in mind.
