Itβs fine. Not the best way but definitely good to know. Thank you.
Question what screws did u use? I have the same power strip I just dont know which type of screws those are
Thank You
Not quite so simple – you also need to make sure that the screw head is the correct size, and also drive in the screws enough that the mounted board doesn’t have too much wiggle room.
This is a brilliant tip! I’m 53 years old and have never seen this before! Thank you for posting it and not adding any fluff to your video! Subscribed!
I’ve tried this and for some reason it rarely works out because you still need to put the tape on straight.
Ingenious!
Great! And if you also put a separate piece of blue tape on the ends of the power strip, it will help you ensure that you are in the right location with the long blue strip before you put the mounting screws in
I just use a piece of plain white paper and use the side of the pencil to trace out the outline of the entire key hold. No tape needed.
I have never seen a power strip that had screw holes lined up straight.
Oh my GOSH!! π€¦ I was today years old… ππ€£π€£
Dude!
Double sided tape
It’s videos like this that make Youtube special, thank you!!
Genius
Straight to the point, thank you. What screw diameter you would recommend?
I have been doing this for years
That is a FANTASTIC TIP!!!!! Thank you! You made our night – now we can have a dust free surge protector!
did you remake this video hiding the slanted screw? or did the strip still fit?
π―
What size screws did you use?
Change the thumbnail. Useless for offsets.
So how did you do that without your screws Falling out of your desk base. My screws come out of my wall because the are not in a stud
What screws do you use
You channel has taught me so much. Keep up the good work
oh nooooo………why did you tear the tape off……
You genius you. Thank you for taking the time to film this solution for everyone’s benefit.
Perfect!!! Thank you!!!
Hereβs a bonus trick, flip the 2 sides around so it sticks to the power strip tight and flat, push the strip to the wall and have the tape stick itself to the wall for a perfectly aligned tape job, no estimating needed!
this is one of those "why didn’t I think of that?" ideas, thanks!
Ta
That’s a good way.
So simple, so useful
This is very useful. The comments also include a lot of other great advice too, but this video is needed to bring us to that advice.
This is the real MVPs of YouTube.
2.1M
Too easy for me to understand. Lol.
Great stuff. Sure wish I had seen this about a year ago.
Nice! It’s a little crooked though π’
He’s got only power strip in the world that’s not offset screws thanks for nothing
Or just use strong double sided tape
AWESOME!!!!
To the point. You didn’t give a history lesson on tape or visit a power strip factory just information.
That’s a great tip I never thought of that
Where were you last week when i needed you?
Genius dude I was making templates with cardboard π€¦π½ββοΈ
