NETGEAR Nighthawk M6 5G Mobile Hotspot – SPEEDTEST & Review!

NETGEAR Nighthawk M6 5G Mobile Hotspot – SPEEDTEST & Review!

HI Guys, this is my netgear M6. I use it whenever I go camping or work on site for events. It’s the fastest wireless hotspot router I have used and its a big part of my set up. The best is if you are on T-MOBILE as their 5G data is inexpensive and easy to set up.

Way, way, WAY too expensive. Its outrageous that they ask more than $200 for this.

  2. @minusnine5036 on May 26, 2025 at 5:33 pm

    What is the UPLOAD SPEED?

  3. @johnqlunchbucket on May 26, 2025 at 5:34 pm

So I don’t have 5G in my area, but I have 4G.L.T.E will it still work on that band?

  4. @melvynwall3011 on May 26, 2025 at 5:34 pm

  6. @crizdancemedia on May 26, 2025 at 5:34 pm

What’s the best WiFi settings for the mobile hotspot? Cellular only, WiFi + Cellular or Ethernet + Cellular?

  7. @crizdancemedia on May 26, 2025 at 5:35 pm

Which is the best SIM card for the Netgear Nighthawk and how much is it?

  8. @omar30rod on May 26, 2025 at 5:37 pm

    Garbage

  9. @natet7323 on May 26, 2025 at 5:38 pm

I use the M6 Pro with AT&T. Under 5g+, it routinely hits 350-400 down and up to 10 upload speeds. I reboot it every 12 hours and it stays off for two minutes….otherwise it sometimes malfunctions and it stays on 5g+ this way. I do wonder if the external antennas would help?

  10. @samhoskins8706 on May 26, 2025 at 5:39 pm

I bought one through Amazon, reconditioned. It kept overheating and I turned it back for a replacement. The second one kept disconnecting all the time. I sent that and went back also, got the refund, and bought something that works.

Still no no e-sim or built-in memory capabilities.

Can someone please explain what is the difference between the Nighthawk M6 Pro and non-pro version?

  12. @geeva99 on May 26, 2025 at 5:42 pm

    Gimmick alert $500+ !!!?? Shame

  13. @yankeesusa1 on May 26, 2025 at 5:42 pm

    Is this seriously $700? Wow

  14. @ivonugis8727 on May 26, 2025 at 5:43 pm

would be nice to compare it whit phone hotspot. Make wifi whit bouth connect whit 3rd device and check speed on either network. To see witch one is faster

  15. @robertosola7576 on May 26, 2025 at 5:43 pm

A mobile hotspot should give you more gigs? I recall about ten years ago that mobile hotspot should give spots were unlimited. Yes I know that these penny pinching companies want to take more of our money. The mobile hotspot companies overseas would give us more data to use!

  16. @Pomodoro987 on May 26, 2025 at 5:44 pm

Thanks for your video. How many hours would the battery last? Like when I am camping outside?

  17. @GrimmTone-y2c on May 26, 2025 at 5:45 pm

70k+ views with only 900+ likes is NOT a good sign for this video. I’d be interested to see the dislikes.

Edit: the vid is now at 81k views and still only at 986 likes. We can’t see the dislikes but I’d have to bet it’s higher than the likes.

  18. @muhsobhy on May 26, 2025 at 5:47 pm

    Very slow to charge.
    Overheating is noticed.

  19. @Lost_John on May 26, 2025 at 5:47 pm

Basically I work in office and the wifi there is restricted, I work 8 hours a day twice a week. My goal is to get my own hotspot (like the one shown in the video) I sometimes do video calls and work on projects as a data analyst. Do you see this overheating on me? I plan to have this next to me in my desk in the office everytime im at work. I want to carry this little thing around. I’m just afraid that if I leave it plugged in during my whole shift it might overheat based off the comments and reviews

  20. @denise-is-swift on May 26, 2025 at 5:49 pm

Am I able to use this with my existing personal hotspot that I pay for through my mobile plan to use as my home wifi?

  21. @lastfanstanding999 on May 26, 2025 at 5:50 pm

It would have been great if he would have mentioned how much the price each month for whatever plan like say 100Gb a month etc…
like wanting to buy a car but they don’t give the miles and gotta call and it’s a hassle, it’s just real convenient if you know the monthly and most people are on a budget by the way so it really matters $$$
All in all though he’s got a lot of great information and had a real good presentation on the device!😊

  22. @raxnn on May 26, 2025 at 5:53 pm

video could have been a bit better. less editing is good sometimes.

  23. @abdulrehmankhan8516 on May 26, 2025 at 5:54 pm

  24. @lanexang8127 on May 26, 2025 at 5:54 pm

how does it work compare to Glocalme Numen Air ?

  25. @calebreckerd on May 26, 2025 at 5:56 pm

I know it depends on the cellular plan but what is latency specs. And what provider is the better choice

  26. @SirCluedoe on May 26, 2025 at 5:56 pm

Hi will this allow me to irl live stream with a go pro to twitch/obs or is this not possible

  27. @bassheadlife492 on May 26, 2025 at 5:57 pm

Why use this instead of your phones hotspot?

  28. @chriswoods7774 on May 26, 2025 at 5:57 pm

I don’t see point in one it’s expensive too, why can’t people use your own phone, even that thing can connect to a hotspot, all you need to do is go into your connection settings & turn on Hotspot & there you go, you have a WiFi signal or 5G whatever you prefer to call the connection.

  29. @jpaulglobal on May 26, 2025 at 5:59 pm

Why do I need this? U can just use my phone. What’s the purpose? To use this router device I have to pay for hotspot data plan on my phone anyways no??

  30. @johnbiden1108 on May 26, 2025 at 5:59 pm

    It’s too expensive

  31. @sanlewis6068 on May 26, 2025 at 6:01 pm

I wonder how come with my old MR1100 I can use that one with no battery (and just plugged into the wall with no ethernet cable) and I still get internet with that one but my new M6 will not work without the battery in it, when I remove the battery and plug it into the wall I dont get any internet at all. Hmmmm. (they both have sim cards with unlimited data)

  32. @kmacky281 on May 26, 2025 at 6:01 pm

This will not stay connected. Can’t reliably stream

  33. @RedAmazing on May 26, 2025 at 6:01 pm

48ms is no good for gaming.. need below 15ms or even better below 5ms for gaming.. even my s24u give 11-12ms for 5g data connection

  34. @kacimezaa4516 on May 26, 2025 at 6:03 pm

Does it work with a 4G WiFi?

  35. @V22VAKa on May 26, 2025 at 6:05 pm

Is your pixie set on 5g or 4g

  36. @christianskovly8831 on May 26, 2025 at 6:07 pm

    What are the upload speeds?

  37. @Gabesz0303 on May 26, 2025 at 6:08 pm

Lol how happy you are with 200Mbs on 5G with an $1500+ device. I got 156Mbs/12.6Mbs on 4G+ with a Galaxy Note 10+.

  38. @TheWarwick1982 on May 26, 2025 at 6:11 pm

How much are the plans for this?

  39. @addicted4life817 on May 26, 2025 at 6:11 pm

What’s the monthly rate going for?

  40. @Yoyoyvo on May 26, 2025 at 6:12 pm

4:00 you’re supposed to be getting 2.5 gbps not a mere 200 mbps

  41. @miztec on May 26, 2025 at 6:16 pm

    Good for gaming?

  42. @EmeraldGaines-w3k on May 26, 2025 at 6:17 pm

For $400.00, you should receive global performance.

  43. @blendmastertv9274 on May 26, 2025 at 6:17 pm

Would this be good for live-streaming or do they cap your data and slow you down?

  44. @lanexang8127 on May 26, 2025 at 6:18 pm

I used M6 pro with AT&T, how do you connect with public Wi-Fi , without using AT&T data

  45. @criticalbrisket on May 26, 2025 at 6:18 pm

    Very helpful. Thank you.

  46. @ecsyntric on May 26, 2025 at 6:22 pm
