MX 3S is not working well in iPad Pro.
Scrolling is a nightmare. Nothing helps.

I thnk you have just highlighted a problem that isn’t articulated anywhere else – When you want to change Computers (which I do a LOT – Desktop, Work, MacBook), you have to press two buttons (keyboard and then mouse) whereas I currently have a KVM switch which is one button. Has anyone found a fix to that? Really annoying to have to flip over the mouse, press the button and do the keyboard every time, when I was hoping that just the keyboard button would switch both peripherals.

I love the back lighting myself, but I need to figure out how to turn it off. Can you go through that please? I just bought the keyboard and so far I love it.

  8. @marioidsouza on September 16, 2025 at 12:14 am

Not true that you can’t customize the buttons on the iPad. You can by going into Settings – accessibility-assistive touch (on) – devices and then choosing the MX Master 3 S mouse and there you can customize all the buttons

I have been a Mac user since 1998 Grape iMac DV. Just bought the M4 Pro Mac mini, which is going to replace my 2017 27" 5K iMac 4.2Ghz Intel Core i7-7700K. I am going to change out the Keyboard and Mouse to Logitech MX Keys S for Mac and MX Master 3S for Mac. Excited to feel the difference! I also have an M1 MacBook Air.

just got this from Amazon. The set is well made, the keyboard is really nice. It’s actually quite heavy, but feels like it’s built to last. I’m getting used to the mouse and so far it works good..very ergonomic, it had very good reviews so I ended up buying it.

I think this will be a good update from my 1989 IBM model M keyboard (with a modern usb adapter of course) I have been using since 1992.😂 Maybe it won’t sound like an entire noisy old office complex at my house when I start burning the keys up. After 30 years, some keys are not responding very well anymore.

    Thanks for the great review.

This was an excellent review! Did you try the MX Keys for Mac? Which one do you prefer? I just bought the MX Keys for Mac and using it for a day now between MacBook Pro and Dell Precision. So far so good, but switching the mouse is a pain. I just ordered the MX Master 3S mouse to use between both devices. I also heard, haven’t verified yet that when you are using both MX Keys with MX Master 3S mouse, you can switch between devices seamlessly without toggling a mouse switch or pressing the button on the keyboard. Are you experiencing the same?

  20. @ManeloFernandez on September 16, 2025 at 12:28 am

Has anyone tried pairing these 2 devices and using airpods or bluetooth headphones at the same time? Does it get laggy or anything?

  23. @mikehersey on September 16, 2025 at 12:30 am

    doesnt work at login :/

  24. @kmcg101 on September 16, 2025 at 12:32 am

Thanks for the review. That the mouse and keyboard don’t both switch to a new device with a single button push is a deal breaker for me. Seems like these devices are not really a set. Just 2 independent devices that look alike.

  25. @woaitslyn on September 16, 2025 at 12:33 am

  29. @drambouie5652 on September 16, 2025 at 12:36 am

    great review

question: Do you find it annoying to have to turn the mouse over to change devices? These engineers are ridiculous, its so hard to find a keyboard and mouse combo where BOTH have buttons on the top to switch devices. i mean how efficient can these tools be if you have to flip them over to switch devices. Im currently typing from a keyboard and mouse combo where the mouse has the buttons on top to switch but the keyboard has the buttons UNDER the keyboard meaning i have to lift the keyboard every single time and haggle with a little microscopic switch. Ill be returning this keyboard obviously and I purchased the mx, but just the fact the buttons are under makes me doubt ill keep it. what are your thoughts?

  30. @papahito on September 16, 2025 at 12:37 am

I live in Japan. Japanese Logi products have limited colors and key layouts, so I’m considering buying a US version of the keyboard from overseas via eBay.
However, when using a product that connects wirelessly in Japan, it is illegal if it does not have the Technical Conformity Mark.

    https://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E6%8A%80%E9%81%A9%E3%83%9E%E3%83%BC%E3%82%AF
↑ Is this technical compliance mark on the package or back of the keyboard of the "MX KEYS S" you purchased?

The "K780" released by Logi in the past had a Technical Conformity Mark that allowed it to be used legally in Japan, even though it was an overseas version (US version).
I hit the thumbs up button for the video! I would be happy if you could reply when you have time! Thank you🐨

  32. @GennoCamalig on September 16, 2025 at 12:38 am

Hi, some of the keys of my keyboard dont work. Do you know how to fix it?

  33. @DrSus-hp7yx on September 16, 2025 at 12:40 am

Which of its features I am UNABLE to use when I use MX Keys S for Android tablets?

  34. @thisisritzy on September 16, 2025 at 12:42 am

it’s very hard to switch from the magic mouse, it’s too addictive

  35. @dnogin on September 16, 2025 at 12:42 am

Would pressing a device switch button on a keyboard alos switch a mouse?

  36. @Stotyka on September 16, 2025 at 12:43 am

Just got it and I can say that is supercool to use it with 3 laptops with the Flow feature — pure pleasure!

  37. @sarahpursley719 on September 16, 2025 at 12:43 am

Thank you for the review. You look a little bit like Billy skaragard, btw.

  38. @LiamCrossleySound on September 16, 2025 at 12:44 am

If i have a mac and a dell laptop can i switch between both?

  39. @orfeous on September 16, 2025 at 12:45 am

    Still recommend this combo set?
All these keyboards and mice are really a personal choice what each other likes and dont.. but.. its hard to choose in this keyboard and mice jungle.
I have been looking at the logitech ergo series as well.. but.. i figure this combo might be good enough for me.. it seems that many on youtube likes it. Havent seen anyone that doesnt like it.

Kinda pricey but i think you get quite much for the money.

Im on like 13+ year keyboard and mice combo now.. a microsoft wireless keyboard 5000 or something it is 🙂 really filthy hah. time to replace.

  40. @RandoVideos4556 on September 16, 2025 at 12:46 am

Bought the combo just now, looking forward to using it

  41. @JosePto on September 16, 2025 at 12:50 am

I would prefer to ditch the wrist rest and buy them separately for almost the same price but getting two Bolt dongles.

  42. @MrFnkyJoe on September 16, 2025 at 12:51 am

Great video and thanks for the info, very helpful. Does this keyboard allow you to boot into the recovery menu like Apple-branded keyboards?

  43. @TonkatsuNZ on September 16, 2025 at 12:52 am

Great video! Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

Question – I often have to work from home so want a setup where I can switch between work laptop and home Desktop

With the Easy Switch keys this should be fine. The question is do I have to switch both the Keyboard and mouse, or can you pair both together, so you only have to switch the keyboard and the mouse switches automatically?

    Hope that makes sense.

  44. @surfbumhuey on September 16, 2025 at 12:53 am

I think they made the Keys S worse with updated function key row.

I understand that you have to make room for the 3 connection keys, and this is fine. But instead of keeping essential functions like Launch Control or Launchpad (which all were useful in MacOS AND Windows), you gave us keys for Dictate and EMOJIS?!

I know you can remap the keys, but this shouldn’t be the solution for a “business” focused keyboard.

Dictate? Niche, maybe handy for people using Siri/Cortana (but doubtful). Emoji? Literally no one is using a Emoji key. Mute? Helpful I guess.

I can’t get over the fact that this has been approved in the product development. This is simply stupid.

I really hope they return the MX Keys S to give it maximum universal usability. There was no reason to ruin it by this nonsense.

  45. @AlanDanielx on September 16, 2025 at 12:53 am

Damnit i bought the Mouse and the Keyboard separate, without the combo, so no i have 2 usb … Is there a way to connect both with only one usb, since i have 2 one of each?? That’s a deal breaker to me, if not i will have to send back both things to amazon

  46. @DT-iu1li on September 16, 2025 at 12:55 am

I have Mac Mini M4 along with a work PC – anyone have an update if this Logictec MX Keys S Combo can toggle between the two without having to press buttons on the keyboard and the mouse? Any preference as to which device should get the USB receiver – MacMini M4 or the PC? UPDATE – I see a recent question addressing the need to still press buttons on keyboard & mouse .

  47. @ajshah2748 on September 16, 2025 at 12:56 am

very helpful and to the point video.

  48. @prsearls on September 16, 2025 at 12:57 am

I appreciate your review. I’m looking at this keyboard but have no interest in the mouse since I use a Wacom tablet/pen.

  49. @deenmuhammad7786 on September 16, 2025 at 1:00 am

So , if you being given a choose to choose between the logitach combo and apple magic mouse and keyboard
Which on will you go with for long run ?
Really confused ! Already having macbook.

  50. @gypsysoul12 on September 16, 2025 at 1:01 am

This might be a stupid question, but just in case I connect the keyboard and mouse to a computer with no Bluetooth, can I set them up with an extra dongle if I’m already using the ones they gave on another computer?
