    Is this available in Canada?

This just fixed a major flaw the nest protects had. Finally, we can interconnect more alarms to a nest protects had. The overall design is very nest protect mixed with a Onelink, and I like it for that.

Does it have a pathway light/motion sensor light at night? This was a beautiful touch by the NEST Team when they created the Nest Protect. I see this product has a light, but will it light up at night when motion is detected?

Does this detector have a dual sense photo ionizer with 2 different color LEDs like the Nest Protect that senses both fast burning and smoldering fire. I know it also detects CO.

I’m just thankful I just lived in a small apartment where I only bought one Nest Protect but still frustrating that its only lifespan is when it expires and the battery dies.

I turned off the light and the presence sensing to preserve the battery because I didn’t need a light to get up in th middle of the night but the aesthetic and features was a bigger reason why I bought a Nest Protect. I pray there will be many more companies offering Smart Smoke & Carbon Monoxide Alarms in the future.

Love the reviews.. lots of false alarms. Sounds like the Nest Protect v.1.0 that they had to pull.

    No Matter? Trash lmao

This is a step back from the Nest Protect. Nest offered a path light, and different color rings to easily notify you of the status. Sadly another manufacturer is asking you to pay a higher price for a less worthy product.
