Hope when I become a grandma, God willing, I have a grandson like you.
you should try autobrite’s stuff. use it on all of our cars and its very good 👌
Quick question, not nitpicking just curious as I just bought these same products and am excited to use them properly so thank you for the video….you mentioned not to scrub the wheels before rinsing because the fallout remover would scratch the alloys, however with the body of the car you used fallout remover, covered in polar wash and then scrubbed without a rinse between, would this not also cause the scratches you spoke about on the wheels?
Gave snow foam a go on my very dirty tiguan and then had the easiest wash of my life with. I was instantly sold on the stuff
Great job,Bet Nan was pleased.
Autoglym quick refresh is my go to ATM!
The car is worth less than the products being applied 😂
Interesting video and I’ve been lucky enough to work with Autoglym recently, testing out the Polar Series. Impressed with the range and the idea of washing with just one bucket has appealed so much that’s pretty much my preferred method now.
Autoglym polish is rubbish. Tried for 3 years never lived up to the hype on my then Mazda 3 black. Changed to grease lightning and you can see the difference.
What about polar bear????
As soon as you got to Polar Series, I went "dear god". These 3 I did not rate at all, bought when they were new products in Halfords, and suffered through the snow foam and wash and ended up giving the polar seal away to a neighbour. Snow foam didn’t do enough to even start to break down traffic film next to a citrus, the wash wasn’t strong enough to again break down the film and clean the car, and the wax just was not long lasting enough, and I didn’t like the water behaviour, or the finish.
The foam cannon was OK, but no where near the MCCJ pro 2
AG advanced Wheel cleaner is comparable with BH wheel cleaner (and handy to have a large quantity on hand), AG SRP is a detailing staple of mine, and fast glass is just a great all rounder, exterior and interior, so they have some great products, but not all their products are great.
I have a set of alloys from my old fiesta.
What is the best product to get rid of the brown marks from the front wheels.
I’ve used autoglym for many years and it’s great stuff. I’ve just tried yum items today and very impressed also. 2 new items I’ve just purchased that for me are a game changer. 1 rimmats and nitecore cw20. Rimmats also work to stop hose getting trapped in the wheels. The nitecore is so handy for badges, lights engine bay and door jambs.
Would yoy say the APC is as good as say Infinity Wax Citrus for bottom third of car at pre-wash stage.
Arite dave was in favour of autoglym but moved to dual products 💯 amazing
Anybody used "Detailed Direct" products?
The channel is amazing thank you the vids are always so helpful 😊

Hi David, relative newbie to channel, but liking the content. Wondered if you have come across this product and if so how do you rate it Limlex® Platinum Car Care Set
Great products, terrible bottles and sprayer. They definitely need to update them!
You look like Jos Buttler
polar seal is a game changer i love it, use it all the time!
I have their foam cannon and it’s an absolute marble 🏁
Problem with auto glym is if you buy their snow foam canon you have to use their products otherwise any other companies snow foam no matter how you mix the chemicals it comes out very week
Looks great, top job. One question, how much would you estimate the cost per wash (retail prices) would be for Joe Bloggs (i.e. me 🙂 ) using these products?
What pressure washer are you using in this video? Thanks.
Great products but not the cheapest. I swear by snow foam as it helps to clean plus softens grit etc so safer pre contact wash. Polar range extremely good in my view. Quick to use on those chilly days. Magma super product but won’t tackle sap so resort to a lubricated clay bar or other bespoke cleaner.
I would love to see your review of Gyeon detailing products!
Hi Dave, if you have a ceramic coating do you need to use the polar seal? Or am I just wasting my time and money with this product?
Love your videos by the way, you have helped this weekend warrior no end 👍
So I agree that Polar Seal is a great product. Only one snag – what do I do with the 4 litres of aqua wax sat in my garage, which I suspect will probably never be used again.
(The reason I had so much is I used to buy it 5 litres at a time to polish the upper works of my boat – never found anything else so good for high gloss fibreglass at sea).
I didn’t think the lines on the blaster bottle were dilution ratios?
Stopped using AutoGlym a very long time ago – no doubt some of their products have improved now BUT their triggers are absolutely terrible, when you compare their range of products to something like Bilt-Hamber again its night and day, look at the dilution ratios for their APC compared to Surfex and the effectiveness of Touchless compared to Autogym snowfoam.
I use virtually *all* Autoglym products: Never regretted the brand loyalty, nor disappointed with the results. There’s nothing more satisfying than arriving at your car in the morning with little circular beads of dew, evenly across all surfaces, like little jewels.
The tyre cleaner is obviously first, and I use stage 1 snow foam over the wheels to prolong the dwell.
During the remainder of the 3 stage Polar process, I use a little magma with a synthetic "clay" mitt, sometimes between stage 2 & 3.
Then I use the dedicated ceramic sealant (spray) after the third stage. You can do this after drying, or apply whilst wet, and wipe over as part of the drying process.
For tyre dressing, I’m not keen on the instant version, but they have a more serious version, which is sling-resistance and provides longer improved appearance.
I worked at a car parts and accessories shop nearly 40 yrs ago, and AUTOGLYM was the top product we sold back then.
I wonder why "my" foam does not come as thick? I also use the same foam sorayer and Autoglym blast 🙁
I’ve been away and only now got around to this video which I like. Your nan’s car looks fantastic, I like the look of the sealant. That said, I have a question unrelated to the products which is, do you think the car sealant along with other products car salespeople sell when buying a new car is worth it? Specifically, a friend of mine has ordered a new car and he’s been persuaded to spend £699 on what the dealer calls “Gen 3 Glasscost”. It claims to be professionally applied with a 5 year guarantee and protects against damage caused by bird lime, road grime, acid rain and traffic film. It also mentions it protects alloy wheels from harmful break dust. Have you heard of this product or do you any experience of it?
Just remember, it’s a motorcar your washing, not a premature baby 😊.
We love using Autoglym at KEWthevalet. Really enjoyed watching this. Thanks!
When will someone do a review of Sonax products?
The products cost more than the car 😂
Autoglym Bodyshop products are quite good
pretty much all the products i used at home today 😀. would you say a fit 45 year old would be too late to start their own detailing business ? (Possibly part time)
Tested it? Against itself? Where are other products?
Hello,Great video,I’ve got a life sized photo of Claire Balding for you if you want it mate.
Their glass polish is my go-to. Gives a perfect, clear finish
Polar seal should be avoided on the windscreen at all cost!!!
I believe it does say on the product instructions
Need to try autobright
Have you ever tried EZ car care products ?. They have really cheap deals but I always wonder if they are any good
Autoglym make good products 👌
Gd job pal keep granny happy
