Na apple tv vc avançou em velocidade bem mais lenta, avançou algumas vezes menos de 2min. Fiquei impressionado com a velocidade no shield para avançar em qualquer trecho.

Of course Apple fans are gonna say the Apple TV like bro just cause it. Apple doesn’t mean it’s better. They’re literally just streaming devices like shut up. It’s so annoying not everyone wants Apple not everyone wants Google. Some people just want their own options.

  16. @NoEgg4u on January 13, 2025 at 7:25 pm

    Steer clear of Roku products.

Their TVs force you to agree to their legal contract. There is no decline option. You must click "Agree", or your Roku TV will not work — not even its inputs.
I would not be surprised if Roku does the same thing for their streamer.

If you ever encounter a problem where you choose to sue Roku, well… you can’t. You clicked "Agree".
Note that Roku does not tell you, prior to the purchase, that you are obligated to enter into a contract with them (a contract written by Roku’s lawyers that is 100% in Roku’s favor).

Roku can disable your TV or streamer, at will.
So you never really own what you paid for "in full". As long as Roku’s personnel can shut off your TV and your streamer; as long as Roku’s personnel has the final say, then you do not truly own what you paid for in full.

Roku is not a trustworthy company. Do not purchase anything from Roku.

Can’t sideload SmartTube on Apple or Roku. That’s reason enough not to pick them.

  21. @cesarvarela5438 on January 13, 2025 at 7:28 pm

Best are Apple TV and Nvidia shield

  22. @pitor87 on January 13, 2025 at 7:29 pm

AppleTV for me as well (my only apple device) . I like the remote better than Google or roku. And it handles all streaming services.

PleX support is not the best for high bitrate content.. But have
that handled with Infuse. And that’s a plex issue, not really an AppleTv issue. I’m not sure if any of the other streaming boxes handles high bitrate content any better with plex.

  23. @guilhermehahnemannhahn2228 on January 13, 2025 at 7:30 pm

29:00 just to mention, when you have all your accounts synced, you can see that, the last button changes to open with… and then you can choose…

  24. @zig8100 on January 13, 2025 at 7:30 pm

He used the remote to set the TV to find the remote LOL

  25. @TheFire1202 on January 13, 2025 at 7:30 pm

I was hoping to see them side by side on screen, oh well on to the next video. Only the Apple TV 4K and Nvidia Shield Pro is worth getting, the rest is trash!

  26. @drarbo1 on January 13, 2025 at 7:34 pm

The Shield has Android TV UI, which is different than Google TV UI. Can’t find almost any with Android TV UI anymore, which I prefer.

  27. @tariq3077 on January 13, 2025 at 7:34 pm

    Notable downsides
Apple TV: does not search Netflix.
ONN: No rewind or forward button.
    Roku: ads

ONN is still on top cuz it’s 20$.

  28. @UncleSpellbinder on January 13, 2025 at 7:35 pm

I have the latest Apple TV 4K in my living room and the Roku Ultra in my den. Apple TV 4K is a beast. The Roku Ultra is solid. I would actually love to get the Nvidia Shield Pro, but $199 for nearly 6 year old hardware? No thanks.

  29. @HenkBrandjes on January 13, 2025 at 7:38 pm

Shield pro still the best 🙏🏻💪🏼💪🏼

  30. @djsskyvision on January 13, 2025 at 7:38 pm

I have 2 nvidia Shields for over 10 years, not a glitch,, I do not pay for not one streaming service only internet? I can watch anything I want anytime I want ,,,WITH NO BUFFERING.

  31. @donovancherryholme on January 13, 2025 at 7:42 pm

nvidia point blank is the best even without gforce!

  32. @johncosgrove2738 on January 13, 2025 at 7:42 pm

I believe, owning both Shield Pro and 3 Apple tv+ 4K that the Nvidia has the best AI upscaling and a better picture. Having the best 2.1 HDMI cables is extremely important when running multiple devices to have an efficient HDCP that doesn’t blackout the screen and slow your streaming box interface

  33. @TheBlooRayChannel on January 13, 2025 at 7:44 pm

As a long term Shield user who switched to Apple TV around two years ago, I can honestly say the Apple TV box for it’s price is the best. UI navigation is beautifully fluid and fast, no ads, can use supported dual headphones (HUGE FOR PARENTS WITH SMALL KIDS) and can play content at the correct refresh rates. It also aggregates content so well. If a team I follow is playing, that game is on the forefront of the Apple TV app. This box is the king by far.

  34. @JesterHammer on January 13, 2025 at 7:47 pm

The only one that support audio passthrough is the nvidia shield pro. So, if you have an high-end pre-pro with good DACs, you should seek for this.

  35. @chrissmith2963 on January 13, 2025 at 7:50 pm

LOVE my ONN 4K Pro! Picked it up for just $40 on sale last week. The backlit remote is sick.. 😎

  36. @TheDodgefan9 on January 13, 2025 at 7:51 pm

Is there any reason to use the 10/100 ethernet if the wifi speed is higher? I have gigabit fiber, but I thought the wired connection might still be better in a crowded area.

  37. @EARTHKEENING on January 13, 2025 at 7:52 pm

Ruko is the best because the remotes are cheap to replace.

  38. @cloneI0 on January 13, 2025 at 7:53 pm

You didn’t show if they screen mirroring😊

  39. @A.B_X on January 13, 2025 at 7:56 pm

Where are the most cost effective models from Xiaomi and Mecool (also Homatics and Kinhank could be taken into consideration)?

  40. @Derpalerpa on January 13, 2025 at 7:59 pm

Is it possible to be connected to Wi-Fi while also being connected via ethernet? I ask because Wi-Fi speeds seemed to be faster on a lot of these devices, but I’d like to have a redundant connection via ethernet and not have the ethernet override the Wi-Fi. For example, on my Mac mini I have it connected to my local Wi-Fi, but also having it plugged in directly to the router. It natively uses the ethernet, but will redundantly use Wi-Fi if needed, and vice versa.

Titre en français… vidéo en anglais ??? Pourquoi ???

  42. @grayrabbit2211 on January 13, 2025 at 8:01 pm

I appreciate the effort which went into this, especially the comparison of using each device, but I must disagree:
    1) The Roku is probably the most locked-down box. Minimal side-loading exists. No apps. No IPTV services. No mouse/keyboard support. No web browser (useful when logging into hotel networks). You can’t customize the wallpaper with your own either. No way to avoid ads either.
    2) The Roku Channel (and all its free content) exists on Google TV / Android TV, so the Onn, Google, and Nvidia Shield boxes all support it. Not sure if it’s available for the Amazon sticks.
    3) Google TV (Onn & Google) allow highly customizable screensavers, including the ability to do AI screensavers right on the box.
    4) SmartTube TV. This is only available on the Onn / Google TV / Shield. This alone made me dump my Roku for an Onn 4K Pro.
    5) Onn / Google / Amazon / Shield can be used as retro games emulators.
    6) Onn / Google / Shield allow you to use alternate launchers if you so desire
    7) Apple TV still doesn’t support the AV1 codec.

  43. @LukeLunn on January 13, 2025 at 8:03 pm

Moonlight runs great for streaming from a PC on the Nvidia Shield

  44. @i81b4i8u on January 13, 2025 at 8:03 pm

The shield beats every one of these lame ass boxes hands down just based on its ai upscaling alone… None of the other boxes can beat it…

  45. @Cpt.Zer0 on January 13, 2025 at 8:04 pm

Nvidia Shield has an advantage over all the others regarding home cinema, it is the only device that can pass through all sound formats to an av receiver for the best quality. That with the gigabit port make it the only viable device for 4k uhd through Plex when using high end sound and tv with Atmos. Also the ai and hdr handling.

  46. @GarryBurgess on January 13, 2025 at 8:04 pm

Why do I need a streamer when all of that stuff seems to be built into my new TV?

  47. @Ethioboy98 on January 13, 2025 at 8:05 pm

For me Apple TV is the best streaming service! It’s simplest The smoothest the fastest and also the one with no ads and that’s what I was looking for

  48. @TasinHannan on January 13, 2025 at 8:06 pm

I used alot of 4k streamers, but was suprised when i saw the apple tv. Its very clean with no ads, but is a bit pricey.

  49. @Raventerp01 on January 13, 2025 at 8:06 pm

In your testing did you notice that any of the devices had suboptimal reliability and had to be reset or restarted to address lagging or freezing or anything like that?
