As a programmers , these portable monitors are a god send. I bought a 140$ one at promotion a 4k 16" monitor from Ali Express and bought a portable monitor stand. Now I use it with my macbook air as main coding monitor while using macbook monitor for browsers, document, terminals , etc. Best thing is it even powers on with usb c from laptop itself , so less wires and more desk space.
