Love that desktop set up! very nice………
Very informative… I have a 3.5m x 3m living room and it seems that the higher the spec of my equipment the more issues I’ve had. I have to live (and work) in this room so speaker positioning is quite restricted and I get reflections… I am going to try some near field positioning and report back.
Really interesting video. What do you think of the techniques from companies like Lyngdorf and NAD with their room diagnostic software using microphones? btw – I bought Minimo speakers from you and really impressed. Enjoy your videos and surprised you don’t get more viewers.
Thank you for this, i certainly will make use of these informations
I’ve managed to achieve good sound with large floor standing speakers in a small 10.5 by 11.5 foot room. I built limp membrane sealed bass traps to cover the wall behind my listening position.
I agree. My small lounge in my flat is only 10x10ft but has a bay window. I’ve got a pair of 25yr old Linn kans on their stand pulled away from the wall. Each being about 2ft from the side walls. Near field listening works a treat. I also have a large rug hung on the left wall. The only real problem is the radiator goes the whole length of the bay window. Keep up the great work.
