put a small fan next to it that has a usb charger so you can charge it using the projector. so it doesn’t overheat mine did and now there is a brown spot 😅
your room is perfectly set up for a TV, no way is a projector a good idea. my bed faces my closet so a TV won’t work, in which case projector is the only option
I have had 2 vankyo projectors in the past and it was the best investment I had made. If you connect a separate speaker setup , it is literally like you are in the cinema

at Walmart I did see $50 RCA or some brand of projector I would’ve bought it but didn’t have it in mind to buy since I was there only to bey a mouse and instead of the projector got OG teen Titans complete series and The Ezio Trilogy for PS4 (at the time I had trouble with my gaming laptop and since I saw the trilogy was on sale and I have my PS4 I though to get it as a back up option from my PC copy) I recently got a Projector though from Temu (less than $50 btw) and I’ll be try max brightness and a few epic Christian movies as a test
Used one for 7+ years, they have their plus and minuses like anything kind of viewing format, but I will say most of the minuses have been solved by modern technology
Just find out the color paint on the wall and go buy some spackle and you can get rid of any holes in a rental wall. Walls are not rocket science! So easy to fix and cheap!

I agree they are super fun. Biggest issue is figuring out sound though. Pretty much have to run a long hdmi cable somewhere for movie theater sound.

Biggest problem I got with cheap projectors is they put these tiny cheap fans in there. And they’re loud as shit.
