Frontier X2 Heart Monitor Review – Wearable ECG Monitor

Frontier X2 Heart Monitor Review – Wearable ECG Monitor – The Frontier X2 is a smart heart monitor that can record your ECG, heart rate, strain, breathing rate, and biomechanical parameters like cadence and body shock. It is the world’s first smart heart monitor that can record your ECG during exercise. The Frontier X2 can help you improve your performance by measuring both breathing rate and heart rate. Breathing rate is more closely correlated with your true internal effort than heart rate, because unlike heart rate, it is not influenced by external factors like caffeine, lack of sleep, temperature, humidity, and stress. The Breathing Rate based alerts on the Frontier X2 tell you when to speed up and when to slow down, enabling you to optimize your performance. The Frontier X2 is also a great tool for monitoring your heart health. It can detect changes in your heart rhythm and alert you to potential problems. The Frontier X2 is a versatile and accurate heart monitor that can help you improve your performance and monitor your heart health.

I would use this for health for my heart, so can you set alerts when your heart rate goes higher than a certain point?

My cardiologist here in the states is sending me something like this to monitor my HR for the next two weeks.
I’m 60 days post ablation, and been having issues.
    Thanks for this!

How long does it take to charge?

Just read that they are adding calorie (estimate) and stress metrics in a firmware update – Yay! Now I’ll buy one. Want to keep track of all combined in one app during workouts.

If you have the ECG monitor during exercise does it eat into the battery time? Any idea how long battery would last in constant ECG live mode?

  8. @Corusame on December 31, 2024 at 6:30 pm

Can it be used to detect bradycardia and can you wear it while asleep?

How does this compare with the Wellue Holter ECG Monitor?

Had heart failure 3 or so years back. Been using the FX2 since then! The alerts for ST Depressions was a game changer for me as it allowed me to run again without the worry of my heart giving out! Hated going to the cardiologists all the time. Now I just live stream my ECG to my cardiologist and he adjusts my medication accordingly.

hi do you wear this 24/7?

  12. @793ric on December 31, 2024 at 6:48 pm

Hi just be aware off this device the watch monitor s are not great because they move around on your wrist .this is much the same . The other makes with self sticking pads are better that’s why they have them.
    also
Some phone s will not be able to down load the app .

Thanks for the details 🙂 I just have a question. Does this works with other chest straps like polar pro strap which provide more grip during intense badminton workouts. I tried X2 was always slipping.

Is the strap replaceable and washable?

How much storage space does it take on the phone recordings?

I have this, and I really enjoy it. However, I haven’t been able to see anyone talk about the “Other Rhythm”.

Do you know what that is? I noticed that two of my sessions says that; even though it was only 2.4% is the max I’ve hit. I’ve been wondering what it means.
