Ah yes, rockwool. The modern asbestos.

  2. @syedhassanraja649 on June 13, 2025 at 5:04 pm

How long will this be good in suppression of sound

  3. @David-cg7ms on June 13, 2025 at 5:05 pm

the foam is not ok in front of rockwool just use roickwool

  4. @Pratik_kb on June 13, 2025 at 5:05 pm

Can we create a small room using acoustic foam where I can sit and practice singing vocals? Will this setup provide soundproofing benefits?

  5. @Asoroa on June 13, 2025 at 5:06 pm

this was made in 2021 and getting recommended now 😭

  9. @LunaStarFire on June 13, 2025 at 5:08 pm

How to waste money, if its basic, chuck some stonewool or laminar foam, no need for egg board or cut foam, looks nice but performs worse

  10. @rusle on June 13, 2025 at 5:08 pm

Time to decorate the dungeon so the nosy neighbor will not interfere.

  11. @eugene9000pro on June 13, 2025 at 5:09 pm

😮And breath rockwool dust that stays in your lungs FOR EVER

  12. @studiohubstudiosofficialst6757 on June 13, 2025 at 5:10 pm

i prefer to add neodymium magnets in a hidden slot on the side. then i hotglue or glue the magnet in and to a wall. works great

  13. @TheCoolStuffHD on June 13, 2025 at 5:11 pm

Rock wool is wild stuff. It’s essentially made like cotton candy but instead of sugar, they use MOLTEN ROCK!

  14. @Flumphinator on June 13, 2025 at 5:12 pm

This is actually worse than the surface foam alone.

  15. @JohnnytheShark on June 13, 2025 at 5:13 pm

Naaa wife be saying it looks awful 😅

  16. @eliasw.1155 on June 13, 2025 at 5:14 pm

Good short. I would suggest to hang them 4 inches/10 cm away from the wall. This will improve the absorbtion of middle frequencies a lot

  17. @MattStevens9824 on June 13, 2025 at 5:16 pm

I see how this works better than just all rockwool! Solo vs solo, rockwool’s waaay better than foam BUT combining them with the foam as cover gives the dual benefit of having a hybrid that absorbs both the high and low frequency energy.

  18. @MrEditsCinema on June 13, 2025 at 5:21 pm

Rock wool is top notch stuff. The acoustics in my room where so bad that my subwoofer bass could barely be heard..even talking was annoying lol.

I made 4x 120cm x 60cm panels, wooden frame, 6cm thick rockeool then acoustic fabric

Acoustics still aren’t perfect but this msde a Massive difference

  19. @chobani1000 on June 13, 2025 at 5:22 pm

You cannot sleep in this room because Rockwell is like fiberglass but worse

  20. @naqibsharif5670 on June 13, 2025 at 5:23 pm

    How to fix on wall

  21. @PandaZillaTV on June 13, 2025 at 5:23 pm

Could I just attach my 2” pyramid foam panels to some cardboard panels?
I’m in an apartment and was attaching them directly to the drywall with 2” t pins.

  22. @zerik_media on June 13, 2025 at 5:24 pm

Thank you?! I didn’t know i needed this until it popped up. Just put some acoustic foam up in my set up for the first time, and was looking at tutorials. Then this got recommend like 30 minutes later lol

  23. @emptysetowl9715 on June 13, 2025 at 5:25 pm

What is a place to get EVA foam?

  24. @cTothy on June 13, 2025 at 5:27 pm

    Song name? Thanks!

  25. @SpoogPuff on June 13, 2025 at 5:29 pm

There’s no point in spending money on rock wool if you’re going to cover it in the cheap “acoustic foam”. The sound waves will only bounce off the surface and act as a diffuser, NOT an absorber in any way. Sure it looks nice but this isn’t how the science works behind sound waves

  26. @Xtn1Insecticide on June 13, 2025 at 5:29 pm

Will the wall absorb sound better without the spikey spikes? Or can you hear the sound still bounce back off the wall behind the rockwool? Only asking cause my experience with foam is it sounds crap and even if it solves one reflective problem it still sounds sh$t for some reason. Very unnatural and [studio sounding] which personally I hate hearing in a recording because everything has a sound and foam sound is not a nice sound. Just wondering

  27. @DonnieToys on June 13, 2025 at 5:29 pm

I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. (Luke 13:5)
Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions. Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me. Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest. (Psalms 51:1-4)

  28. @dhrumiljain9255 on June 13, 2025 at 5:30 pm

Does adding foam to rockwool also help in soundproofing?

  29. @jacobhoke581 on June 13, 2025 at 5:30 pm

  41. @ihann1baL666 on June 13, 2025 at 5:50 pm

  42. @RylanStorm on June 13, 2025 at 5:50 pm

All so that someone can scream at their mic, which clips constantly, every time they get killed in Valorant.

  43. @famousarmystudio on June 13, 2025 at 5:50 pm

the only active functional ingredient is the Rockwool, the foam is useless

  44. @Iloadss on June 13, 2025 at 5:51 pm

  47. @da_cat on June 13, 2025 at 5:56 pm

if i do this in my room . will my neighbours be able to hear me playing music in my apartment ?

  48. @wavescomplete5085 on June 13, 2025 at 5:56 pm

I really no need this to make Top 10 song in the world. i just focus compose perfect music, lyric, and good singer. No need expensive rockwool or any sound absorb material🤣.. Our superstar singer record in blanket and capture vocal use BM800 mic.., Audio interface only use BOMGE brand. Monitoring use earphone 1 usd.. not super headphone.. Our monitoring speaker use DIY using 6mm plywood.. But our music project go to bollywood, hollywood, plywood

  49. @larryjanson4011 on June 13, 2025 at 5:57 pm

does this also have a R value?
