To register this device, they want your credit card information.
    F that

It gave me a rash something an ordinary watch does not do.
Now on my smart watch I’ve tape on it and it’s working as a watch without the radiation

The nerves in my back, shoulder, and arm felt as if a knife were cutting into them when I wore a fitbit and it did the same when I switched to a Garmin.

  4. @johnlone3074 on May 31, 2025 at 4:24 pm

Why are they still wearing them? Why didn’t they send them back to the manufacture?

  5. @victoriahardin1560 on May 31, 2025 at 4:28 pm

Fitness watches use minute electrical currents. Your heart is electric. 🤔

  6. @HemDas45SinghKavi-r9w on May 31, 2025 at 4:28 pm

Yes even feel some kind of irritation feeling

  7. @Saiarts_yt on May 31, 2025 at 4:30 pm

There are fitness trackers out there that use bluetooth to monitor their heart, locations, and steps. If that’s the case then the hackers can also leverage that as well.

People looking for a frivolous law suit and a easy dollar. That and a lot of mental illness by others suffer group psychosis after seeing a complaint . Hate to tell you that cell phone gives off way more radiation and does actual harm ,try and sue them , lol good luck !

  9. @TheRealSyrett on May 31, 2025 at 4:32 pm

this is why we need the smartwatches we were promised; the fun computers on our wrists, not the health tracking devices they’ve been turned into. Why aren’t we able to purchase a smart watch that gives us notifications, tells us the time, has some games, and has a timer…..and DOESN’T have a heart rate sensor? Why does the charge point have to be the same place that touches the wrist?

  10. @User24x on May 31, 2025 at 4:34 pm

    That’s not a side effect, that’s a defect.

Is Smartwatch Radiation Harmful? Is it bad to wear a Smartwatch all the time?

    Is Smartwatch Radiation Harmful?

Smartwatches have risen to extreme popularity in the past few years. They have become the most common wearable technology. They feature advanced technology that is placed directly against the body on the wrist, therefore concerns regarding their effects on the health are raised. More and more people are starting to use them daily. So, today’s question is Is Smartwatch Radiation Harmful? Smartwatches are wireless devices that are worn on the wrist and feature a number of features like your smartphones. They have wireless connectivity with the internet as well as your mobile phones.

These devices can perform a number of tasks like:

    1) Fitness tracking
    2) Sleep tracking
    3) Notifications Alerts
    4) Responding to text messages and emails
    5) Reminders
    6) Health monitoring

These are just a few of the features of these devices, but they offer much more. They are one of the handy devices which are becoming a household device. With all their benefits, the concern regarding the health effects caused by them is also considered and after detailed research and study, it has been seen that the smartwatch radiation isn’t harmful to the human body. How are radiations created?
“Phones emit radiation and cause cancer”. This is a sentence you must have surely heard in your life. This is because it is partially true. Devices that use wireless connectivity like Bluetooth, cellular connectivity, etc. emit radiations in order to transmit the data. Since the smartwatches are wireless, this means they definitely emit radiations which are electromagnetic radiations. This is because wireless connections like Wi-Fi require electromagnetic radiation to send data. These radiations result in the creation of electromagnetic fields also known as EMF.

Are the radiations harmful to the Human Body?
When buying or using the smartwatch, one gets worried about the harmful effects of placing this electronic device on your wrist for long periods of time. It is often asked, “is smartwatch radiation harmful?” Well, you don’t have to worry about it because these radiations aren’t harmful to the human body. The effect of the radiation on the human body causing cancer depends on the wavelength of the radiation. If the wavelength of the radiation is low, meaning it has a high frequency, it will be harmful to the tissues of the human body. However, if the radiation’s wavelength is longer which means that the frequency is low, it can’t cause harmful effects on the human body.

I love people like the mom that wear fitness trackers and spend their days eating on a couch.

  23. @carcamp on May 31, 2025 at 4:44 pm

Wore a Fitbit for a while….nothing happened until a few months later. Bald of arm under location of watch and stunning shocks to my tongue when driving and making sharp or fast moves. I stopped wearing watch….hair on forearm grew back and never felt the shocks in my tongue again. We’re electrical beings…. So I figured if you have more iron in your blood, wear certain clothing or are very physically active this may be a possibility…..ehh not sure

  24. @LILMoNkEy565 on May 31, 2025 at 4:46 pm

I Believe it bc I got the same shock

Smartwatches with Bluetooth … Do they have radiation ?

  30. @jec_ecart on May 31, 2025 at 4:53 pm

    Hard to believe

  31. @kiraPh1234k on May 31, 2025 at 4:54 pm

    So dumb.

Not only does that device not have any electrical contacts with your skin (the sensors are lights), but it’s tiny battery cannot produce such a shock, and such a high current would have severly damage device components.

    This is called a "hoax"

  32. @UncleGene on May 31, 2025 at 4:55 pm

Now I know what it was and I wasn’t Crazy..I bought a H56 fitness watch

I don’t get how it’s hard to use a regular wrest watch they look cool but if it puts my safety at risk I am shutting it off and going back for sure to the old time to go back to early 2000s for me when I was a kid hell I only used a pocket watch when I was in School.

I like the tricycle she rode! She rode a tricycle, which has three wheels!! Good wheels are okay and round and awesome!! But the man doesn’t like the dangerous side effects that bothers him.

I wouldnt put one on if u payed me it will have radiation running frew it and if people wearing on the left arm were your nerves run to your neck and near heart …indont think that’s really good 😳😳😳😳

  38. @docchocobo on May 31, 2025 at 5:06 pm

I wonder if it’s back EMF from the vibrator motor. Some Motors will kick off a tiny jolt when the power is disconnected from them. When the motor is first turned on it builds a magnetic field across the coils, and when the motor is turned off that field collapses creating a high voltage that feeds back along the line. I could see that jumping across the charging contacts and causing a jolt. If you’ve ever worked on electric motors or relays you know what back EMF is. And you’ve most likely experienced it personally. It probably wouldn’t be enough voltage to damage the watch, but it would be enough that you would surely feel it

Should upgrade to a galaxy watch or Apple watch.

  41. @unnamed2737 on May 31, 2025 at 5:11 pm

It’s not healthy at all to flood your body with wireless radiation 24/7. Will damage you on the cellular level, cause disease, even cancer. That’s way more devastating than getting shocked a few times.

  42. @camillecali22 on May 31, 2025 at 5:12 pm

I was doing a search for fitbit injuries. Woke up a few nights ago with my wrist aching and a burn on my wrist. It went away but now my wrist is swollen and in pain.

Multiple people using the term "the watch hurt my feelings" to dismiss this issue and trivialize these very valid concerns. Creepy bots.

  50. @lightdeborah1096 on May 31, 2025 at 5:20 pm

I put it on my left wrist few days ago and rash broke out on my left hand, tried to prove if it’s the fitbit or something i ate by putting it on my right wrist , rash broke out on my right hand too,
