They carry dust?
I’m in the UK in a semi-detached house and in the middle of renovations now. I have stripped the plaster off the party wall (back to breeze block) and want to install something effective that will reduce noise transfer between me and my neighbours. Any recommendations, products or video links would be great. It’s worth getting right now that it’s stripped out. Thanks y’all. 😃
I am living in a place with continuous construction going on, either outside my neighbor above me doing endless interiors, how do I avoid these noises ?? does the things said in the video help reduce these noises ? (may be i’ll get similar products available in my country )
Fuckkk I love my Red Devil caulk
me and my husband want to make a diamond shaped whisper room for his drums and for my voice over work. This video was very helpful. My husband is handy and can build. Is there any specific wood you would use or paneling. I am askingto know myself and get it filed. Thanks!
yeah i have damm open stair to my room i dont think i have a door i guess the first step is to build an wall
I have a 12 x 20 sprained in porch. I made my vinyl covering myself but when the rain or the hill hits the tin roof that has bubble wrap on it so we’re bubble wrap you can’t hear yourself talk what kind? What can I use to dim the sound in there.
what about a basement corner you want to “sound proof” and w unfinished walls and ceilings?
there’s no doubt there are many areas where sound is leaking through, none other than the basement door at top of stairs, but would you start by insulating this corner of the basement you want to work from or first seal the door at the top of stairs?
All l C is him no physical instruction
I have a cave, perfect for drums, guitars, saxophone and organ. Aah, and a bit of equipment and 🎤.
Rental, so this has given me some good ideas.
Thank you.
(BTW, my son, seeing so many U-Tubbers, pushed me to buy the foam pads, I did not.)
I feel so well informed now😊
Just buy soundpeoof door and window, problem solved
What if I just hung a moving blanket in front of the entire door to cover up all the cracks and one in for the one window in this particular room would that be sufficient and reducing the noise coming in from those two spots?
Incredibly attractive video!!
Omg is anyone going to talk about loud neighbors and stomping. Do I need to place these on each areas of the wall ?
Does this work for apartments?
i want to reduce the echo, coz its concrete room where I record
"The experts… perhaps."
hahahaha
Thanks I really appreciate the time you’ve put into this. Also widened my knowledge 👍
Full time RVer, please help me stop a lot of outside noise out!!!!
Ultra lite in my world means paper thin walls!!!!🤬
You still haven’t answered my dilemna. I need a room I can murder people with a chainsaw and not have the neighbors complain. Pesty neighbors…
Thanks : )
Hi.
I work in a textile hosiery socks manufacturing unit with two Unit Halls. The size of one Hall is 600x150ft. With 600 Machines installed in six assembly lines.
The noise of sewing knitting is very high and the average noise level is above 92 DB.
I want an effective and cheap solution for example PVC sheets to avoid yarns, lighting and maintenance hindrance. Can you share any possible solution.
I use audio doors and hang them over the door. Works really well. I got mine at about $100/door, so it may be kind of expensive.
can you add high density vinyl on top of the existing finished wall and then acoustic felt backed slat panels on top? Will it reduced noise escaping from the room / soundproof the room at all?
very good thanks
Dear goodness, be more direct on what I’m supposed to do.
Awesome content as always.
Only a crack will let 50 percent of noise into a room he says…. Well, I have a butt crack and my wife has more than one crack. How do we seal those cracks to stop the noise of my mother-in-law’s annoying voice ?? And don’t suggest Caulking because I Caulk my wife every night and that does not seem to work.
Do I need gravel under a shed?
Using trending sounds or formats can boost visibility in Shorts
some people still think cheap acoustic foam is for soundproofing…
Where are my dyi torture chamber people at!!
tabernac, que t’es beau 😉
Thanks for this. In Europe, where walls between rooms are typically made of brick or concrete blocks, it is not that much of an issue but the door and window tips are just as valid. By the way, those solid weeks do make Wi-Fi repeaters or multiple access points essential!
arma flex … and make the door thicker!!
😞 we just finished a room, that I wanted sound proof before they put the dry wall, and they didn’t put the right thing.
Definitely the sliding door it’s going to be a huge challenge! 😒
Bz is sliding I can’t anything in the button where is a huge gap!
Thanks magic man
Holy moly, 4 minutes in and you are giving info other people with 100K subs are not telling me. They didn’t say ANYTHING about noise coming through door gaps. They simply talked about sound panels and such, which stops noise coming OUT of the room, not vice versa….
great tips
Thanks
Most of the time it’s super pro or nothing, this is quite realistic for many.
Thank you!
How do I treat the ceiling ?
Thanks for creating this video, you are the only one on youtube understood the issue of noise coming in from outside 😉 I would be really intrested to know about you opinion about wooden fiber panels?
So mass vinyl plus acoustic foam mix is the best option for middle income people who dont wanna do construction got it.
thank you for this video very helpful, hopefully nobody will hear the people screaming in my basement after this 👍
Thank you for being so authentic
This is the most honest video I have watched. More importantly I have a crystal clear idea on how to enhance my home office to be more noise and sound efficient. Thanks very much for all the product links and the clarity with which you have put this honest video.
Thanks for the tips!
