I use a mesh wifi 6 router with the satellite next to my pc. Ethernet from the satellite to my pc, cant even tell itd not a direct connection to the main router. No added latency at all (yes ive tested that) and perfect wifi for my phone. Lol
I just bought whatever router. I usually review its functions before I bought it. Everything that claim gaming are overpriced. My old router sucks because it was 3 years old and many people like to use the wifi without permission from outside of my house. Now, with my new router, I can ban their ip. My old router can’t do that.
Just buy a fucking long cable. It will be still faster and fully stable with lowest latencies. And its dirt cheap. Gaming routers are the biggest scam.
The rule of ethernet is always better is going away with wifi 6 and 7. Im running wifi 6 and let me tell you, its fast and low latency. I was on wifi for a while and thought it was ethernet. With my equipment and testing of my setup there wasnt a difference of latency or speeds
Just get a Wi-Fi extender and hook it up with Ethernet to your pc. Ethernet cable costs like 15£ if you ain’t got one laying around and the extender costs as low as 15£ too.

At 400$ I can buy a roll of cable, a crimper, a drill and fishers. Then run a line innthe wall under the floor, or in the ceiling for less than that. Or just pu it under the carpet. Best parr is the cable you run will still work when the 400$ router is outdated.
that’s why using Asus AiMesh wifi system is really neccessary because you can even connect up to 3 asus aimesh routers with wifi or ethernet cable and it has a mobile app called "asus router" and you can setup a custom software to these aimesh routers and there are some price/performance routers like RT AX55

Just use a mesh setup, then you’re good to go. They are affordable too with wifi-6 also.
You see I just wanted to point out the playstation 2 sized graphics card toy stuffed in there
Buying cable is dirt cheap, and better stability. I’m stickimg with wired setup lol
In NZ, we don’t even have access to speeds over 1gbps and that’s what I currently have. So how are we supposed to get full speeds?
I feel called out because I do have a 100 foot Ethernet cable in my apartment
If you have an expensive computer, you can run a cable.
Just get a 200 unifi wap with wifi 6

I mean technically a decent enough router with a decent internet plan should be fine for most

Its just a router with rgb.

You need some kind of support for that GPU.
“Staybability”
Gaming router make no different comparing to a similar price range or cheaper high end router
Who writes these scripts? Also you should try talking slower and enunciate, and the speed it up to 110% in post
My house has Ethernet ports in every room, so no problem for me
