Weirdly the N1S is no longer listed as a product on their site. They upsell to pro/ultra/ultimate

  2. @Luis-od1kk on January 19, 2025 at 11:02 pm

Hello! Thanks for the nice comparison 👍🏽
Do you know if the Firestick is compatible with the JMGO N1? That’s the only bad thing for me. The N1S is more expensive and as you already said not 300€ more price worth

  3. @AbandonedSaint on January 19, 2025 at 11:02 pm

Is it worth getting the N1S Pro 4K over the N1S (1080p)?

  4. @teflondaprince on January 19, 2025 at 11:02 pm

Very detailed video done exceptionally well. Can you hook up external speakers for more outdoor cinematic experience?

  5. @msn.muddam on January 19, 2025 at 11:02 pm

This is an extremely helpful video! Thanks much!

  6. @lescalefilms on January 19, 2025 at 11:03 pm

I think you are very harsh with LG cinebeam Q. I’ve seen both JMGO N1S and LG CQ in a showcase in Paris. The 4K resolution of the LG is far better than the 1080p of the JMGO. Color accuracy and contrast are also impressive out of the box for this tiny projector. The biggest downside of the LG is speakers which are very bad I agree with you !

  7. @martinheinrichs4867 on January 19, 2025 at 11:03 pm

05:04 do i get even higher contrast reatio and better black floor on the N1 when i reduce the brightness?

  8. @artemvasilenko5298 on January 19, 2025 at 11:03 pm

Help me choose a projector. I’m choosing between Samsung Freestyle 2 and Mogo 3 Pro. Thanks.

  9. @lukasschneider6329 on January 19, 2025 at 11:04 pm

Thank you for your nice comparison. It is much appreciated. Now that BENQ GV50 and Dangbei Atom are about the same price and JMGO N1S only about 100 more expensive, is there still anything speaking for the BENQ GV50 quality-wise? I’m looking for a projector that can be easily moved in the appartment from the bedroom to the living room and maybe to the office to be used as a screen.

  10. @Xzionlio on January 19, 2025 at 11:04 pm

Is the Epson EF22 is competitive compare to the Dangbei Atom? They’re both around the same price where I live (and sadly Benq GV50 is not available)

  11. @amitabhbhatt4948 on January 19, 2025 at 11:10 pm

can Atom play 4k movies from Netflix by downgrading to 1080?

  12. @frankeyfrank1 on January 19, 2025 at 11:11 pm

I was hoping you reviewed the Nebula Capsule 3 Laser instead of the Nebula Capsule 3.

  13. @synaptichorizons on January 19, 2025 at 11:11 pm

Have you ever considered testing Pocket Projectors (Pico or Nano projectors). These little projectors can easily slide into your Suit’s Coat or Blazer pocket and you can pull out and project Excel Spreadsheets directly from your Smartphone by way of Bluetooth. This works on airplanes, in restaurants or conference rooms where you don’t have any external power of Wi-Fi options. Basically looking for at least 720P Native and tested ANSI lumens of at least 200. Usually try to use screencast to local TV’s etc. but that never works at Starbuck’s or other coffee shops, because they don’t have TV’s around that you can display Proprietary Client Data on.

  14. @Tangogun on January 19, 2025 at 11:14 pm

How has the Gv50 price increased $200 in 2 months? Makes no sense

  15. @TheRancor1990 on January 19, 2025 at 11:15 pm

Please help, I am just between Dangbei Atom and BenQ GV50, I have ordered BenQ but while waiting, I feel like to change the order for Dangbei. Should I stay or should I change?:)) both same price! Thanks a lot

  16. @AndySomething on January 19, 2025 at 11:19 pm

Just leaving a comment to say your videos are incredibly helpful. My partner is looking into getting a projector for us and your videos are amongst the finest videos on the entire platform for tech comparisions/reviews.

I’m a migrant with a crappy visa situation atm, but when I land a decent job i’m gonna support you on patreon. Thanks again.

  17. @yauhen-e1v on January 19, 2025 at 11:19 pm

Hi @TheHookUp, thanks a lot for your reviews! Can you please comment what is the distance between projector and the screen for you lumen measurements? didn’t find any guidance regarding that in ANSI test method.

  18. @svk3282 on January 19, 2025 at 11:19 pm

This was a great video! Which one would you recommend between BenQGV50 and Epson EF22? I don’t mind loosing some of the portability but focused on good picture quality and ceiling projection ability with 2D keystone correction. Thanks in advance!

  19. @ZoZeroG on January 19, 2025 at 11:20 pm

I love camping and being able to watch a movie pretty much anywhere. I got the Nebula Mars 3 pro and couldn’t be happier. The projector is just amazing. We had a fire going, and the projector projected through the smoke with no issue.

  20. @whoever_81 on January 19, 2025 at 11:25 pm

Why does the JMGO N1S get a 10 in Picture Quality but the JMGO N1 gets a 6?

  21. @FlauntAarna on January 19, 2025 at 11:29 pm

Dangbei atom or beng gp100 please suggest ??

  22. @Desideratapoem on January 19, 2025 at 11:30 pm

The BENQ is unavailable for purchase.

  23. @julianarte8884 on January 19, 2025 at 11:31 pm

I recently purchased the JMGO N1 from Amazon.

    My concerns:

    1. Saturated reds within the system’s Android platform (icons).
    2. Fan noise at 9-10 brightness.

  24. @handznet on January 19, 2025 at 11:32 pm

The problem is. Benq GV 50 is like 900+ eur. Not 500-600.

  25. @leelily2772 on January 19, 2025 at 11:33 pm

    Great!

  26. @rakeshk49 on January 19, 2025 at 11:33 pm

    You are the best ❤

  27. @kal2352 on January 19, 2025 at 11:33 pm

An excellent video with great analysis.

  28. @AsianMike420 on January 19, 2025 at 11:34 pm

Where are you getting these prices?

  29. @Bthdk on January 19, 2025 at 11:37 pm

@thehookup too bad the BenQ GV50 is being sold at 799. it would be great if you could get them provide discount code to buy it at 599

  30. @chalchagoloso on January 19, 2025 at 11:37 pm

    exelent video Thanks.

  31. @demolitionbmxd on January 19, 2025 at 11:38 pm

I came back to check some other stats on the video and I have a question, can any of these units be mounted upside down or on their side and have the image flipped/corrected? I want to install/use a portable projector in my van and utilise space on my ceiling and ideally one of the common screw in tripod mounts. Could I install a mount on my ceiling and hang these projectors upside down to use them? I think at this point the BenQ GV50 is taking the lead in options as long as it could be mounted this way. I also have 12v DC wiring installed to the place of preferred installation so I am hoping to use either a simple USB c to 19v barrel adaptor or a 12v to 19v 5a step up transformer with a homemade barrel connector cable coming off of this.
Would this be adequate to operate the projectors constantly for long movie marathons?

  32. @Desideratapoem on January 19, 2025 at 11:40 pm

Why do you talk about the battery life of the JMGO N1? It has to be plugged in. It doesn’t have a battery.

  33. @Simplestas on January 19, 2025 at 11:41 pm

BenQ GV50 is back for $699 on BenQ US site. Just bought and it’s good. I would be miserable on 120" screen with any other battery-powered projector without your guidance. It’s sad most modern projectors seem to run undercooked Google TV on anemic hardware, though.

  34. @LISTEDGames on January 19, 2025 at 11:42 pm

man I feel like your videos makes all the good projectors run out of stock.. Can you recommend me a good projector under 200$ or a bit more if its a better value but one that tilts to 90 degrees. I want to project it onto the ceiling, I feel like a lot of these projectors don’t do that as they have the exhaust or cables out, so you cannot really tilt it upwards… Thank you. Your reviews are just awesome. Love the format!

  35. @benruthlessburger8905 on January 19, 2025 at 11:43 pm

Excellent review… I just bought an isinbox on Black Friday and the mirroring is very choppy. Was wondering which on of these projectors you reviews is the smoothest.

  36. @dimitrichristy630 on January 19, 2025 at 11:45 pm

@theHookUP can you please review the JMGO Picoflix particularly in comparison to the Dangbei and BenQ GV50 🙏

  37. @pomegranate5072 on January 19, 2025 at 11:47 pm

How do the GV50 & the Cinebench Q compare at shorter viewing distances you might have in bedroom use cases? (e.g. 6 – 10 ft)

  38. @ffdezc on January 19, 2025 at 11:47 pm

    Hey, thanks for your reviews!
I don’t have access to buying the JMGO N1 or the BenQ GV50. I’m considering the Xgimi Halo+ or the Nebula Capsule 3. What would be your recommendation? 🙏🏻

  39. @romainhebre on January 19, 2025 at 11:47 pm

    I need this GV50

That’s a great review thank you very much !

  40. @TheHookUp on January 19, 2025 at 11:48 pm

For some reason I continually refer to the "XGIMI MoGo 3 Pro" as the "XGIMI MoGo 3" in the video. It is in fact the "MoGo 3 Pro". Sorry about that.

Edit: It also appears that the $599 price on the BENQ GV50 was a 30 day introductory sale price. The price is now $799. I’ll be watching for sales and will post a community message if/when it goes back down to $599.

  41. @Stealther on January 19, 2025 at 11:49 pm

You list the price of the JMGO N1S as $999 but its double that at $1999 on Amazon, is this a error?

  42. @demolitionbmxd on January 19, 2025 at 11:49 pm

Thank you for an updated list, I just wish the capsule laser made it on

  43. @Justx0 on January 19, 2025 at 11:49 pm

I bought a benq gv50 thanks to your explanations and advice and the 1st hours of tests are great thank you

  44. @iFISH808 on January 19, 2025 at 11:51 pm

Why is Samsung freestyle 2 not included here??

  45. @jennyfromjapan on January 19, 2025 at 11:51 pm

i just wasted 20 minutes waiting for two other videos to actually *compare* these projectors, before i realized they were essentially just regurgitating the benefits/features that i can read for myself in the product description.

thank you guys for making an objective performance comparison – very informative, insightful, and helpful. i appreciate your work.

  46. @sr0725 on January 19, 2025 at 11:52 pm

Hello, Do you recommend a particular USB C to Barrel Jack adapter to use with the Dangbei Atom? I have a 65W USB C power bank. Thanks!

  47. @eskilforsberg3544 on January 19, 2025 at 11:54 pm

I bought the JMGO N1S based on you thorough review. However, the laser speckles are clearly visible to me in almost every scene with anything dark in it. Is this normal? I can’t see the same level of speckles, or any at all, in the footage you shared from your N1S. Anyone else had this problem?

  48. @FlauntAarna on January 19, 2025 at 11:55 pm

Benq gv50 or benq gp100 which one and why??
