ADDITIONAL VIDEO NOTES:
This is the Fitbit Charge 6, and it is likely to be my most recommended wearable of the year. Let me explain.

A lot of people don’t want a $300 smartwatch that needs to be charged every night. They want a subtle device with a long battery life that tracks health and fitness, has google pay, notifications, and maybe a few other smart watch features. So what are your options here? You can’t get a WearOS watch or even a Galaxy watch thanks to the battery. A Garmin device would work but they are very expensive. So that brings us to Fitness Bands. Of all the smart bands out there, the new Fitbit Charge 6 is going to be the most appealing here in America.

haven’t had a fitbit last more than 7 months- ever.

  2. @raenedaez on January 19, 2025 at 11:03 pm

Thanks for the detailed review. My Charge 4 is just now failing, and I didn’t know whether I should take this opportunity to consider other health trackers. I have been with Fitbit since Charge 2, and I really do want to stick around for as long as possible before Google digests it whole eventually. This review has helped me decide to stay a little longer.

  3. @carolinaseibert4428 on January 19, 2025 at 11:05 pm

Bad watch when the band doesn’t hold, and keeps coming off, thank goodness I was able to returned it, can fit bit improve their product? , I lost my first fit bit bc of the stupid design , don’t waste your money.

  4. @andrewkowalski1173 on January 19, 2025 at 11:06 pm

Every is fine, I have a problem with charging, Charger doesn’t work. Please your show from the beginning. Charging Thanks

  5. @bassingbasics6621 on January 19, 2025 at 11:06 pm

The problem with Fitbit from what I’ve been told is the battery longevity. I’ve heard you won’t get more than a year with the same watch.

  6. @TubeDupe on January 19, 2025 at 11:07 pm

How long is the battery life with GPS switched on or off? Thank you.

  7. @CarmenGuy-f2m on January 19, 2025 at 11:08 pm

    Sterling Station

  8. @bflsolutions on January 19, 2025 at 11:09 pm

Paywall is stupid but don’t care because does everything you need without the premium features. It also connects to mynetdiary which is my diet app and gets my nutrition information from there and shares my workout data to mynetdiary which is the reason I purchased this device. I use only YouTube music with my YouTube Premium subscription which also is perfect for me. Get more bang for my buck from YouTube Premium then Spotify. I don’t like the auto on feature for workouts and cardio. I disabled that because I will just click when I start and stop. The app had me doing cardio twice in a day when I was doing other physical activities and i had not noticed because the vibrate on the device is very light you may not notice the notifications.

  9. @yesimwilliam on January 19, 2025 at 11:10 pm

As soon as you said they had the pay wall I was out. Wanted this to track my sleep. Guess Ill look else where

  10. @NatureNurturedJourney-ov4vb on January 19, 2025 at 11:12 pm

    Interesting

  11. @MongrelDeluxe on January 19, 2025 at 11:15 pm

premium payments = No thank you!

  12. @Morganlaine16 on January 19, 2025 at 11:15 pm

Gah I really don’t understand the paywall every company is doing now. Paying for the device should be all the money they get from me.

  13. @bannyban5697 on January 19, 2025 at 11:16 pm

Pls avoid fitbit…no proper services even no service center in india.

  14. @rikhenry9701 on January 19, 2025 at 11:17 pm

I’d like to add a minor addendum: At this point, you ARE able to buy the Charge 6 from their actual website and Amazon (I think) for $120, but learning about "Fitbit Premium" from your video has definitely shown me that this is NOT the device for me. So I thank you.

  15. @emreon3160 on January 19, 2025 at 11:18 pm

This is actually a good review.

  16. @kyleemery3203 on January 19, 2025 at 11:19 pm

Can you shower with it on ?

  17. @ChrisDIYerOklahoma on January 19, 2025 at 11:20 pm

I have had the Charge 2 + Premium for YEARS. It is still working fine, charges up, etc. However, the "Zone Active" and heartrate are failing to show on the APP (my phone). Steps and sleeping monitor work and are useful. But, I want it all to work. Just ordered a Charge 6 and a nice band. Same day delivery with Amazon Prime in my area

  18. @juliahello6673 on January 19, 2025 at 11:21 pm

My Fitbit stopped charging after three and a half months. Fitbit did not honor my warranty because I had bought it at Amazon!!! DO NOT BUY A FITBIT!

  19. @ShadowRing0219 on January 19, 2025 at 11:22 pm

Not an unbiased opinion, affiliate link in description, thumbs down 👎

  20. @NEILROBERTSON-ws7ze on January 19, 2025 at 11:23 pm

you lost me at pay wall

  21. @tobiashardy1620 on January 19, 2025 at 11:23 pm

The app is awful. Customer service non existent. Having used fitbit for many many years they’ve forced me to look elsewhere

  22. @daveh4208 on January 19, 2025 at 11:24 pm

I wouldn’t recommend one, my doesn’t track sleep, steps, or heart rate accurately.

  23. @slavicapolic1367 on January 19, 2025 at 11:25 pm

it is sooo bad in comparison to 4. it is super difficult to operate a swim, it takes me 20 seconds of insane frustration to stop a swim. i do not recommend for swimmers.

  24. @1993tope on January 19, 2025 at 11:26 pm

Misreading my steps. Help. This is a new charge 6. 2 steps, it shows 17 steps

  25. @Barone2013 on January 19, 2025 at 11:28 pm

The armbands on the charge 4 are causing some skin irritations on my wrist. Not sure if this is a known issue

  26. @LifeAccordingtoMaria on January 19, 2025 at 11:29 pm

$129 right now through Amazon. I think the prices are definitely dropping.

  27. @fayezfamfa on January 19, 2025 at 11:29 pm

Did anyone noticed that it is always off regarding calories calculated ? It is off by 1800 calories for me !

  28. @Cinnbad on January 19, 2025 at 11:30 pm

I will never invest in a fitbit again! The straps are cheap, and absolute garbage.

  29. @LOGOASSASSIN on January 19, 2025 at 11:32 pm

First thing I need to know, does it work with iphone?

  30. @Urhmmmm on January 19, 2025 at 11:35 pm

Ppl u don’t have to buy the premium subscription

  31. @mandurphy23 on January 19, 2025 at 11:36 pm

The subscription makes it a non-starter for me. There’s so much competition in this space now that I don’t see a compelling reason to go with this one over that one. But we’re in what we’re in and they’re never going backwards with this subscription nonsense, so whatever. I used Whoop for 6 months and enjoyed it a lot, but my Samsung Watch6 does all of this for a 1-time upfront fee that I can trade devices in to offset the cost. Fitbit is a big name, but there are so many other big names in this space, now. Verdict: this would have been an instant buy from me at <$200 but knowing that I have to pay $120/year to view analytics that I’m paying to upload to their servers anyway… yea f that.

  32. @TubeDupe on January 19, 2025 at 11:37 pm

Too bad you’re ignoring the ECG as this is the smart band’s killer feature.

  33. @ganeshbyale5024 on January 19, 2025 at 11:40 pm

But is ECG comes free with watch or do we need extra subscription for many other features?

  34. @williamtopping on January 19, 2025 at 11:41 pm

Ordered my son the Pixel Pro 8, and got this device thrown in for free, and a discount on the Pixel Pro 8 on top.
Came to $500 for both of them.

  35. @Juli-n-David on January 19, 2025 at 11:41 pm

So from what I read in the comments what are you using it was not a Fitbit

  36. @TheBatman514 on January 19, 2025 at 11:42 pm

I was on Amazon getting ready to buy as I listened to this. I’m not getting it bc of the "paywall" 😂

  37. @daybrake2 on January 19, 2025 at 11:44 pm

5:02 phlebotomists must love you lmao

  38. @imbilta on January 19, 2025 at 11:44 pm

I have Charge 6 and It’s the most useless wearable. You pretty much pay Google to train it’s apps. It does not track anything correctly. It’s so inaccurate I stopped using it. I feel Google has to pay me to train their system instead of me paying them to train their useless device. I track everything I do using my iphone and charge and compare it. Charge 6 does not track steps or miles correctly; it’s WAY OFF. The bicycle function is almost inexistent. Save your money and buy Apple Watch. KNow this for sure. You’re paying Google to train their system than they charge you to give you useful information. I wish I know this before I lost my money.

  39. @saikatnextd on January 19, 2025 at 11:45 pm

@mike what would you suggest today Apple Watch or Fitbit ?? I don’t know if Google is sunsetting the fitbits !!

  40. @curlyboy5540 on January 19, 2025 at 11:47 pm

I am Fitbit user since 2015. This year I needed to replace my old Versa 2. Thought about other brands but there really is not so much options if you need a good health tracker and want to save some money from buying Apple watch or Garmin so I ended with Charge 6 and so far so good for my needs.

  41. @Iz0pen on January 19, 2025 at 11:47 pm

My cousin got one of those by court order

  42. @pg8524 on January 19, 2025 at 11:48 pm

Fitbit Charge use to count the floors climbed. Not anymore.

  43. @SobujRhum on January 19, 2025 at 11:51 pm

The variety of textures in the kislux pack is impressive. From smooth leather to textured suede, there’s something for everyone.

  44. @leland303 on January 19, 2025 at 11:52 pm

    F Spotify. They’re a has been company

  45. @AbbyRundle on January 19, 2025 at 11:54 pm

This item has a range and was purchased for me from Amazon early last month and it really does help keep my hair from getting damaged but it has helped a ton in terms that are more expensive for my face shape and it really helped with eyebrows but the other one is not very expensive because the hair looks like it’s been really good 😌 it’s really good 😊 and remember the good 😌 thank everybody who came by for this purchase so far it’s so much more than just the one thing you can give you for this and it’s worth that much for your money ❤❤❤

  46. @debbyapling8583 on January 19, 2025 at 11:55 pm

Since I got the Charge 6 in March 1994, Fitbit has regularly dropped functionality and features that should show data are blank daily. The "help" from the user forum is not well organized–if I’m scrolling down it can’t maintain the place when I look at a post, and can’t maintain a subject, like limiting to Charge 6 when I initially specified Charge 6. "Help" also consists of try this, try that suggestions from other users, no real solutions from mfr.

  47. @seven58o on January 19, 2025 at 11:56 pm

I had the Charge 5 for 3 weeks… The metal sensor melted my skin lol…

  48. @cyliemyrus on January 19, 2025 at 11:56 pm

That paywall was literally the only thing stopping me from getting it. If i’m spending $160 for basic things, I’d rather just fork over the extra amount for a Garmin watch or any other smart watch.

  49. @davescom on January 19, 2025 at 11:59 pm

No wireless charging is a deal breaker for me.

  50. @cdanilana on January 19, 2025 at 11:59 pm

Is it compatible with iPhone 16 pro max
