In this video we are comparing smaller speakers that are made for specific uses, like listening in the shower, while riding your bike or scooter, and other weird things you can do with small bluetooth speakers. The JBL Clip 4 is a steal at its current price, while the Wonderboom 2 is the best sounding, and the Bose Soundlink Micro just kind of falls short for me. I do like it’s carry handle though that can fit around bicycle handles.
Defo agree with the wonderboom, but the best thing on that table is the funky zoom f6 👍

Trabajo para Bosé y lo corrieron o que pasó? 😂
I’ve had 3 wonderbooms and they’re nice BUT the batteries they put in them are not. They have a short lifespan. After maybe 6 months of infrequent use I noticed the battery would only last maybe 40 minutes before it started blinking red. Then maybe a month after that it essentially needed to be plugged in at all times in order to be work. Maybe the newest model is better but that was the big flaw with the old ones
No highs, no lows, you know it’s Bose
Bose is dull, wonderboom is has more base but less crisp, jbl less boomy but crisp…
Bose is all bass… sounds bad…
I was using wonderboom 2 for years but it broke. So I am looking around if I should get the same or something else.
use case – SHOWER
Love this video so much, watched it two times. Thank you and greetings from Sweden 🇸🇪
Lol my JBL Clip 4 fell apart 🥴. Too many falls in the shower. Thankfully it was under 1 yr warranty and they shipped me a new one. Sound isn’t anything amazing like u mentioned. Buuuuuuuut I just ordered the Marshall Woburn 3 so I’m super pumped to receive it and compare how terrible my lil JBL sounds next to it 🤣
Zelensky?
The wonder boom is GREAT & I also have a Jbl.. I also had the 1st gen JbL & it I was able to use it as a conference caller but they eliminated that feature.. also the boom has great sound & Bluetooth I can go 80 feet line of sight & it won’t crack & I like the fact that the wonder boom can can be taken apart rather easily & parts or underneath are accessible & even the loop can be replaced with with 2 screws.
Nice edit setup.
I have used wonderboom 2 since 8 months and it still performs the same as it was before and its Bluetooth range is awesome for that price range
2:40 Bose bass 🍽️😢🫣 3:15 JBL

wonderboom is ugly and doesn’t fit in my pocket so I threw over my neighbors house and bought the Bose micro. never looked back and funny thing I saw my neighbor using it the wonder boom when cleaning his back yard haha. wonder boom is trash XD
Bose micro i have owned for years and i love love love it, size is perfect, it thumps with bass and you can eq it for vocals or more highs if you want. It’s also indestructible. Seriously. It also has bluetooth low energy which means even when it’s off, like totally off, it uses a tiny amount of power to send out a bluetooth signal at all times, so you can connect to it without going to it and turning it on. That means it can sit in another room and you can blast from it just by connecting to your phone, even if you haven’t touched it for a week! Or it can sit in your backpack and you can start music without even taking your bag off and the speaker is TOTALLY POWERED OFF. It’s insane, most underrated feature. I have the wonderboom too but without the low energy bluetooth thing I just don’t use it, yes it’s a little louder but it has so much mid and high that’s it’s overbearing and harsh as f***, if you try to EQ it to have more bass and less highs, it can’t do it really, it tries but gets less than 50 percent of the bass from the smaller bose. Whereas the bose is indestructible, it’s been dropped down flights of stairs multiple times, it has a rubber outside so it bounces, it lives in my shower and has never been damaged by the water, the UE boom has a terrible flap covering the usb port which i guess is all the waterproofing it has, no internal presumably like the bose does otherwise why the flap…bose doesn’t have the flap. If you have read this, please trust me and get the bose, it’s more convenient, portable, hardy, and sounds great, a perfect package.
I have a wonderboom 4 now in 2024, they were great years ago, they are now better, amazing sound, waterproof, drop proof, Amazing little sucker that seriously blasts..
I have a clip 4 and is NOT impressed After a year of use it starts to switch of even if I pump it just slightly against something, while my Clip 3 NEVER gave problems, even after surviving a 4m fall. In the end it charger point got worn out, so I had top replace it. Clip 4 for me not nearly a durable as Clip 3.
Just bought wonderboom 2 on a whim because I was at best buy today and saw they had a package of two of them for a hundred bucks. Currently waiting for them to charge while watching videos like this. Lol
my clip 3 is a solid speaker, BUT.. yes.. FFS…. the clip latch fell apart literally within 3-4 weeks?

Hi Danny finally got my wonderboom 3 in, sound is more defined clearer highs and better bass but the 2 and 3 are very close
excellent video you certainly have a good ear, the wonderboom2 destroys the others
I like wonderboom2 but its micro…I have jbl clip4
Thanks bro! Bass better in WB?
Bose is the best
You put a drawstring around your bike bar with a half inch slack and clip clips to that band. I had a couple clip 4s but was always feeling cheated because of the so called clearance $40. I switched to a armful of multiple generic clip called Pulse that were $5 at 5 Beloe during the Holiday. They have multiple functions of FM radio, micro sd card reader so that you are not draining your phone battery and even a thumb drive player for cheap old technology alternative & of course bluetooth which is more stable than the thumb drive that skips unless completely still in room or bathroom. Unlike most small 5 below slash Bass Jaxx speakers, The Pulse SCREAMS on LOUD Max volume. Battery life is about 1.5 rather than 2 when maxed volume but at this price I can keep a spare in each pocket for 3 hours play and my jogs & speedball never go beyond 45 minutes each way in a single outting. Other sacrifices include the clip itself is not as durable but I just supported it with preemptive electric tape. At $5 The Pulse is basically disposable. Any issues? Throw away & reveal a stored one. I’m no hoarder. I purchased as gifts then discovered no one was into speakers like me so I ended up keeping. I’ll link my review separately in these comments.
Bose lo máximo
Wonderboom 2 sounds wide but doesn’t sound anemic compared to Bose micro.
Wonderboom 2 is perfect for that range of price..
Went to the shops the bose gave me a headache it was tinni and annoying metallic sounding, but obviously the smallest. The wonderboom sounded the best and the clip 4 was close, but the clip 4 feels heaps portable to clip on a back pack.
cool man
Sony XB100 is the new micro speaker king.
Hey Danny the Wonderboom 3 is releasing August 31 vibrant colors still using micro usb though. Still retails at 99.00
Speaker in the disc golf bag is a MUST
Thank
How about baterry life Bose is better
I went with the clip 4 vecause i needed a flat design mostly for backpacking and clip on my car since i got my stereo stolen and i clip under the driver’s seat.
But, i am a big fan of ultimate ears and the wonderboom’s sound quality is just amazing. I used to have the sightly bigger ones and never failed me.
In my country wonderwoom is way more expensive than the clip 4 but if you have the money I’d go for it. I wish Ultimate Ears could make an outdoor version of the Wonderwoom, but so far my flip 4 is doing quite well, though not the same quality at all
Is it a review or just a nonsense video? wasted my 6 minutes, no proper information
What volume % you tested 3 of those? Do not tell me that 100%
TJ Maxx has Clip 4 fot $44 I thought of returning, but multiple reviews show that you’re not going to get much more for the money. I notice that all speakers go on belt waist band if nothing else
The stuff that falls apart with the JBLs are the rubbers that are attached to the speaker grill. So for my charge 5 it’s the rubber stripes at the base of the speaker.
Not a deal breaker cause they sound awesome for us regular folk. But the wonderboom is bang for the buck. Nice for traveling.
You’re awesome 🙂 and Thank you!
I was on a quest for a speaker I could bike with. Something small, light weight, but with decent sound. I tried all of these and found them so so, bass is not all that great with any of them, let’s face it, there little speakers, there’s only so much to work with. The JBL and Bose, although they had better bass their high range, treble is horrible. They do a pretty good job at midrange, if you don’t mind that cheap portable radio sound. The Wonderboom for me just sounded cheap and even at mid level volumes distorted so bad I couldn’t return them fast enough. For me I found Sony SRS XB13 to be a much better sound and buy. They don’t have pounding bass, get real, the speaker is only about 1 1/2 maybe 2 inches round. But over all sound is good and well balanced. Plus at about $40 a speaker you can buy two of the Sony and pair them for stereo. Did I mention these are parable? The other thing works for me needs the Sony SRS XB13 fits snuggly in a water bottle cage or can be strapped to your bike and the Sony has a 16hr battery and a better or as good as water rating as these speakers.
The difference between the Wonderboom 2 and 3 is like the Emberton 1 and2 I gave my son the Emberton for part of his bday gift he loves it he’s into musical instruments as well. Works from home these days it’s on his desk.
Bose is not for everyone. I love the Bose sound signature, I just crave bose sound. I think it gives the instruments ‘body’ and keeps everything separate in a nice way.
I heard you playing a bit of classical music at the end of the review What is you opinion on how good the Wonderboom 2 sounds with Classical music? I assume it would sound great for orchestral volume, but in terms of the detail of different instruments? Do you perhaps have more classical music to give an opinion on that? I listen mainly to classical music and my Clip 4 (which for me did quite well with classical music) finally broke down so I am looking for a new tough waterproof Bluetooth speaker.
Hi Danny Amazon now has the UE WONDERBOOM 3 for sale just ordered mine it arrives Monday look forward to your review on this item
Wonderbooms match is jbl flip 6
