    watchout the cyber psychosis

  2. @Dracose on December 31, 2024 at 6:17 pm

the heaviness and size of it can make u think ur wearing a helmet

  3. @why7020 on December 31, 2024 at 6:17 pm

if you disconntected the monitor you might be able to get more performance out of it, just thinking the extra pixels that ur gpu has to run

  4. @muddyfalcon on December 31, 2024 at 6:19 pm

Yo how can you make such a huge headset for these thin little geek necks?

  5. @Jindsing on December 31, 2024 at 6:19 pm

Crystal light? Isnt that a drink mix powder

  6. @arturpiatek6186 on December 31, 2024 at 6:19 pm

still lighter than a helmet no?

  7. @drivejapan6293 on December 31, 2024 at 6:19 pm

    3:17 to about 4:57
Advice, big screen your live cam of you with the headset on and small screen the game. I know you are testing out the headset but the constant sporadic movement is annoying as all hell. We cant focus on any of the detail because you never stop moving your head. I know that portion of this review was kind of short compared the entire length of this video but it annoyed me enough that I stopped watching to type this. The other option is to just slow your head movement.

  8. @Avidfisher777 on December 31, 2024 at 6:23 pm

How much is the cockpit or fixture?

  9. @anonymoushonesty2688 on December 31, 2024 at 6:25 pm

Give it another 15 years and I’ll buy one.

  10. @GlutenPlayz on December 31, 2024 at 6:25 pm

Extra weight simulates the helmet 💯💯💯

  11. @benliu3406 on December 31, 2024 at 6:28 pm

if you like playing racing sim or flying sim with a heavy vr headset on your head , you should have a constant force spring to bear the weight of it, check it on my channel.

  12. @skonatrix on December 31, 2024 at 6:30 pm

Speaking of realism, more weight isn’t bad since when you race you wear a helmet, let’s not complain about few more grams…

  13. @SDFNI3894YR on December 31, 2024 at 6:33 pm

    great vid

  14. @NiftyyR6 on December 31, 2024 at 6:34 pm

A monthly subscription to use this thing? Fuck that non-since.

So its $599. After the 14 day trial period you have to 2 further payment options:

Payment Option 1: Pay membership fee at once with 10% discount
    $599 upfront + $11.99 membership fee * 24 mo. * 90% = $858 USD in total

Payment Option 2: Pay membership fee over 24 month
    $599 upfront + $11.99 membership fee * 24 mo. = $886 USD in total

*You’ll start paying the monthly membership fees in app 14 days after activating your Crystal Light.

  15. @dragoonblue06 on December 31, 2024 at 6:35 pm

any idea how it stacks up against the index? still haven’t really found an upgrade yet.

  16. @Battshimself on December 31, 2024 at 6:36 pm

They need to build a vr helmet thats just a street bike helmet with all the vr in it. Mainly for racing sims.

  17. @0QualityOverQuantity on December 31, 2024 at 6:37 pm

moisture from your eyes causes fogging which can be quite annoying. Once the headsets warm up its less of an issue but they should be better ventilated.

  18. @medard20 on December 31, 2024 at 6:39 pm

    Hey @optimum, love your videos!

I am a big VR fan and i am eyeing with the Bigscreen Beyond for a while now but i dont know if i should wait for the “announcement” as you said in the last seconds of the video or i should just get a pair for christmas this year? Thanks for answering!

  19. @jburton1669 on December 31, 2024 at 6:40 pm

Bro your making me dizzy. Lol
Next time try talking without moving your head around so much when showing the game.

  20. @r0xjo0 on December 31, 2024 at 6:40 pm

    This review is fire.

  21. @RR-ns1sz on December 31, 2024 at 6:41 pm

Just strap a PS5 to your face next

  22. @alexsp7086 on December 31, 2024 at 6:42 pm

    What monitors are those ?

  23. @REgamesplayer on December 31, 2024 at 6:43 pm

I’m waiting for Pimax Reality 12k and hopefully they will fix issues with motion tracking until then. Outside of Meta, everyone seem to deinvest themselves from VR market and every other competitor has either dated offering for an original (overpriced now) price or it is just budget offerings.

  24. @calgains on December 31, 2024 at 6:44 pm

Bruh, it’s heavy. lol u wear a helmet in racing, don’t you lol track required

  25. @Mike4444x on December 31, 2024 at 6:44 pm

    Is his voice overdubbed?

  26. @thedarkmask4155 on December 31, 2024 at 6:45 pm

Why don’t u give the fps shooter games in vr a shot @optimumtech

  27. @Bullseye-ht3qv on December 31, 2024 at 6:45 pm

did he just ditch the bigscreen beyond for a pimax?

  28. @LonewolfJuan on December 31, 2024 at 6:46 pm

It also trains your neck for gains.

  29. @mosulmedic7048 on December 31, 2024 at 6:48 pm

The beyond is atrocious. By far worst headset I have ever owned

  30. @josephbenson3757 on December 31, 2024 at 6:51 pm

Why have 3 monitors when you can strap them to your head

  31. @richardmiklos on December 31, 2024 at 6:53 pm

    – Pimax Crystal Light: you are very rich, have a 4090, you play sitting, you don’t mind the huge weight, you want the best visuals and good contrast especially for space sim or other dark games.
    – Bigscreen Beyond: you are very rich, you hate the weight of other headsets, you don’t mind the cable, you don’t share the headset with others, you want good contrast especially for space sim or other dark games.
    – Meta Quest 3: budget option, you want wireless, you can live without high resolution and without good contrast for space sim or other dark games.

  32. @mathiasmuggli1162 on December 31, 2024 at 6:54 pm

For racing sims, the weight actually adds realism, because in RL you’d wear a heavy helmet ☝😯

  33. @omegapointil5741 on December 31, 2024 at 6:55 pm

    DID HE SAY 127 GRAND?

  34. @SchotteJ on December 31, 2024 at 6:56 pm

I play VR games and sim titles, and it is in the sim where the weight usually bugs me the most.

  35. @jim9223 on December 31, 2024 at 6:57 pm

I have a valve index. Is it worth the upgrade having a 2070 super gpu? Seems like high resolution is still hard for even new gpu. Valve index can maintain 144fps with sim racing since it has lower resolution. Also has a pretty high FOV. FPS and FOV is more important in sim racing than resolution. Also the tracking is really good with valve index since it uses base stations. The index just works, plug and play.

    nice McLaren…….. WTH lol

  41. @spyder5876 on December 31, 2024 at 7:04 pm

I genuinely believe that people who don’t think VR is the future of gaming are people who simply have not used one yet.

I was skeptical of VR when they initially began rolling out a few years back. Then I tried the HTC Vive for the first time. My mind has changed ever since.

  42. @SonofthewindsInc on December 31, 2024 at 7:08 pm

they need to bring the price down to sell more

  43. @Fl0d57 on December 31, 2024 at 7:08 pm

  44. @rexfarell on December 31, 2024 at 7:08 pm

  45. @tsuyo_ on December 31, 2024 at 7:08 pm

  46. @kangjames2492 on December 31, 2024 at 7:10 pm

  47. @Saykdom on December 31, 2024 at 7:10 pm

Can you use glasses with a VR headset ( i wear progressive glasses) ?

  48. @Dan_Jams on December 31, 2024 at 7:13 pm

What camera / settings do you use? CLEAN work! Assuming you still film on a7s3? Slog-3 / S-Gamut 3 cine? Would be awesome to see your camera settings / luts / color correcting process. Good stuff bro 🤘

  49. @ninosmall6843 on December 31, 2024 at 7:14 pm

Insane that the pimax is almost 50% cheaper than the bigscreen

  50. @kinanalhawat6753 on December 31, 2024 at 7:15 pm
