watchout the cyber psychosis
the heaviness and size of it can make u think ur wearing a helmet
if you disconntected the monitor you might be able to get more performance out of it, just thinking the extra pixels that ur gpu has to run
Yo how can you make such a huge headset for these thin little geek necks?
Crystal light? Isnt that a drink mix powder
still lighter than a helmet no?
3:17 to about 4:57
Advice, big screen your live cam of you with the headset on and small screen the game. I know you are testing out the headset but the constant sporadic movement is annoying as all hell. We cant focus on any of the detail because you never stop moving your head. I know that portion of this review was kind of short compared the entire length of this video but it annoyed me enough that I stopped watching to type this. The other option is to just slow your head movement.
How much is the cockpit or fixture?
Give it another 15 years and I’ll buy one.
Extra weight simulates the helmet 💯💯💯
if you like playing racing sim or flying sim with a heavy vr headset on your head , you should have a constant force spring to bear the weight of it, check it on my channel.
Speaking of realism, more weight isn’t bad since when you race you wear a helmet, let’s not complain about few more grams…
great vid
A monthly subscription to use this thing? Fuck that non-since.
So its $599. After the 14 day trial period you have to 2 further payment options:
Payment Option 1: Pay membership fee at once with 10% discount
$599 upfront + $11.99 membership fee * 24 mo. * 90% = $858 USD in total
Payment Option 2: Pay membership fee over 24 month
$599 upfront + $11.99 membership fee * 24 mo. = $886 USD in total
*You’ll start paying the monthly membership fees in app 14 days after activating your Crystal Light.
any idea how it stacks up against the index? still haven’t really found an upgrade yet.
They need to build a vr helmet thats just a street bike helmet with all the vr in it. Mainly for racing sims.
moisture from your eyes causes fogging which can be quite annoying. Once the headsets warm up its less of an issue but they should be better ventilated.
Hey @optimum, love your videos!
I am a big VR fan and i am eyeing with the Bigscreen Beyond for a while now but i dont know if i should wait for the “announcement” as you said in the last seconds of the video or i should just get a pair for christmas this year? Thanks for answering!
Bro your making me dizzy. Lol
Next time try talking without moving your head around so much when showing the game.
This review is fire.
Just strap a PS5 to your face next
What monitors are those ?
I’m waiting for Pimax Reality 12k and hopefully they will fix issues with motion tracking until then. Outside of Meta, everyone seem to deinvest themselves from VR market and every other competitor has either dated offering for an original (overpriced now) price or it is just budget offerings.
Bruh, it’s heavy. lol u wear a helmet in racing, don’t you lol track required
Is his voice overdubbed?
Why don’t u give the fps shooter games in vr a shot @optimumtech
did he just ditch the bigscreen beyond for a pimax?
It also trains your neck for gains.
The beyond is atrocious. By far worst headset I have ever owned
Why have 3 monitors when you can strap them to your head
– Pimax Crystal Light: you are very rich, have a 4090, you play sitting, you don’t mind the huge weight, you want the best visuals and good contrast especially for space sim or other dark games.
– Bigscreen Beyond: you are very rich, you hate the weight of other headsets, you don’t mind the cable, you don’t share the headset with others, you want good contrast especially for space sim or other dark games.
– Meta Quest 3: budget option, you want wireless, you can live without high resolution and without good contrast for space sim or other dark games.
For racing sims, the weight actually adds realism, because in RL you’d wear a heavy helmet ☝😯
DID HE SAY 127 GRAND?
I play VR games and sim titles, and it is in the sim where the weight usually bugs me the most.
I have a valve index. Is it worth the upgrade having a 2070 super gpu? Seems like high resolution is still hard for even new gpu. Valve index can maintain 144fps with sim racing since it has lower resolution. Also has a pretty high FOV. FPS and FOV is more important in sim racing than resolution. Also the tracking is really good with valve index since it uses base stations. The index just works, plug and play.
Please give us a virtual reality headset and controllers that don’t require a computer because we don’t have money. Please please please we need this. Send to this address: 9814 bernwood place drive apt 103, Fort Myers, Florida.
F***k the spectacular specs. What’s the MTBF of these sets?
2:02 you know what else is massive?
All I’m hearing is quest three is better at this and this and this and is also way cheaper
nice McLaren…….. WTH lol
I genuinely believe that people who don’t think VR is the future of gaming are people who simply have not used one yet.
I was skeptical of VR when they initially began rolling out a few years back. Then I tried the HTC Vive for the first time. My mind has changed ever since.
they need to bring the price down to sell more
Imagine having a several thousands $ setup but having the "Activate Windows" watermark 💀💀
But can it even run crysis?
5:21 no way bro has a setup worth of thousands of dollars and doesnt have windows activated
The crystal light is also good for non sim games
Can you use glasses with a VR headset ( i wear progressive glasses) ?
What camera / settings do you use? CLEAN work! Assuming you still film on a7s3? Slog-3 / S-Gamut 3 cine? Would be awesome to see your camera settings / luts / color correcting process. Good stuff bro 🤘
Insane that the pimax is almost 50% cheaper than the bigscreen
My Quest 3 with a battery strap is already too heavy
