Product Sourcing:
When it comes to sourcing a product for review, I will usually either purchase and item personally or reach out to a supplier requesting a sample for review. Many suppliers are supportive if they are confident in their product, appreciating the value of greater exposure.
I am sometimes sent a product by a supplier which I may include if the product fits planned content and I believe will be of interest to you, my audience. The product needs to be worthy of a review and I always make it clear to the supplier that they cannot influence or be involved in the content in any way. It is not in my interest to review inferior or poor quality products and therefore as you might expect many product offers are politely declined.
Any sponsored videos (paid for reviews) are clearly stated as such so there can be no misunderstanding.
Sometimes a supplier will provide a link to the product or the supplier which I am happy to include in the description. Sometimes I will be provided with an affiliate link so I can earn a commission on sales and this helps to support channel costs but never at the expense of an honest review. There is no cost to you and in some cases discounts can be obtained via the link or via an included code.
If a product I have reviewed is available from Amazon I will often include an Amazon link in the description. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. If you purchase a product or service with the links that I provide I may receive a small commission. There is no additional charge to you.
Please consider subscribing and being notified to keep up to date with new video releases.

Please leave an 30 day use review on that pocket rocket charger.
I really like the Inui Pocket Rocket. Their P24-E1 power bank and charger is also nice for US.
Nano bag is great for extra carry room. I’ve loaded one with groceries several times and it handled it well.
I’m using a diamond dusted hook sharpener from TEMU at 9 grams that also is perfect for knifes. Just 1.20 Euro.
Nomad has a 65w that is 70g. flat & about the size of a zippo
The UK just gets punished with that horrendous plug adapter. In Switzerland a small charger is much smaller and in the US or Japan even more so. In the UK its like half the size just the damn monster pins lol
How to order the Vonmahlen power bank in the UK. The website linked in the description is saying it does not ship to the UK.
Oh it breaks my heart to see anyone trash their blade on one of those pull through sharpeners. And a 60 degree incl. angle? You’d get a far better result from upending any old mug in the guest room and using the ceramic surface underneath.
Iniu is absolute garbage i bought one it worked once then refused to charge and getting a refund from amazon was a nightmare as they initially gave the refund and then said they never received the returned item which i sent back using their QR code they provided so the redebited my card. I had to go through amazon as the seller has no contact details and its just drop shipped from china. Stay well away from this trash brand!
Vonmählen would not seem to ship to the U.S., or even to the UK for that matter.
Thank you! Thanks to your videos I have put together a few EDC kits and they have come in handy while traveling and working in the office. I even have a hygiene kit
Nothing destroys a knife blade faster than a pull through”sharpener”.
Great video and very good items. Space is of premium importance and so is price. The smaller the better on both counts 🎉
Thank you for taking a look at the INIU power bank. I’m also looking at that and appreciate your insight.
FYI – the Osprey and Nanobag links don’t work as expected, at least for me.
As soon as I saw the pull through sharpener I knew you don’t use any of this stuff. Which makes me think you don’t use any of the gear you advertise.
What can I say Jon another great review I liked the Knife Sharpener, Backpack was good, I have a Sidewinder Light I may buy that Charging Block.
60 degrees all inclusive is a horribly abrupt edge to have. Besides, pull-through sharpeners destroy the life of your blade.
Wish the Tini3 had a pocket clip for clipping to the brim of a hat
+++++🙃
Random question: Who makes your glasses frames? I dig them.
I have an old titanium version of the tag knife. Love that little thing
CountyComm makes great EDC products
Why would a company raise half a million dollars to release the exact same backpack Sea To Summit has had on offer for years? Smells like a scam to me.
Double up, put the Nano in the Osprey
Victorinox blades are profiled at 40°, so a 60° sharpener is not the best fit for them.
Is the rolling square folding? Nope, so taking that into account it’s not as compact as other offers. I would rather buy slightly bigger if the plug is foldable. I’ve also got the minix one and agree, the only problem I’ve had with it, is the adapter plugs are loose and the main body can slip off the plug easily.
The other issue I have with rolling square is the usb cable I had from them lasted a few days before it just stopped allowing a charge. Unreliable
Love your videos, as does my son and grandsons! Snag is you end up costing me a fortune at birthdays….
Awesome intro!
"That heart-stopping 240v mains"…. Jon, please stop spreading the misinformation. It’s the current that k1lls you, not the voltage. It’s simple science that tells you that, for the same power, a 110v system must deliver double (i.e. a lethal) the current needed from a 240v supply. Simples, really.
Jon, check out Nitecore NB 10000 GEN 3! You can charge a phone AND the device at the same time!!
the anker also has apple watch charging
Great edc items I just recently purchased the nano standard shopping bag and I absolutely love it. I always carry a grab bag in my sling but wanted something even smaller and the nano standard is absolute heaven for carrying in my small and large sling bags. Will take a look at the backpack one definitely nice to keep your hands free all amazing items thanks for sharing.
Trying to email this guy to review the code of bell annex vs annex 2! Please see this and guide me 😂
Any good recommendations for a travel power brick (US) that will do 110W? My laptop needs 110, but the power cable that comes with it is huge and hard to travel with.
Omg that spyderco is SO CUTE
😅 There is no uglier plug than the UK one. And, you may get in contact with the phase while plugging in – that will get even more ugly for you.
Put the Vonmählen and the Nitecore up against eachother for unlimited power!
When you started talking about the Nanobag tote, my brain was telling me “they just did a kickstarter with a backpack (daypack)!” I have a number of their totes in different sizes, and got the backpack. Will be testing it out on my cruise in a couple weeks. Their stuff is so lightweight, small, and easy to use. Love them!
The Iniu Pocket Rocket looks interesting, as does the Nitecore Tini3 flashlight.
I love the videos, but you can be dangerous to the bank account. 😉
Often watch, first time commenting. Great delivery and natural enthusiasm and just the right level of information. I had been looking at the Osprey, but I purchased the Nano after watching this.
tungsten sharpeners are a dime-a-dozen and every single on of them ruins your edge.
and i have never herd of anyone raising a burr with one.
and seriously, when have you ever herd praise of these things from someone who wasn’t selling them?
sorry, dude. but this one’s a miss.
A question for you sir. Do u buy all that gadgets, or the company lend them to u u make a vedio and give it back . How does it works
You’re dropping the ball by not ever reviewing tiny Lumintop flashlights.
just got my tini3.
paid 48 euros.
do not regret a cent of it!
200 lumens for an hour at 0.7oz is amazing, and that display is prolly my favorite innovation of recent times.
even if it isn’t needed, i find knowing in detail what you have left just inspires a great confidence in use.
you never have to wonder about what’s left, you can just hit the button and find out.
Why y’all’s wall plugs look like that. It looks stupid and cumbersome. Ones here can fold into the cube.
Hi john any recommendations for e sims cheers sean
I was impressed with the pen until I saw the price 🤒
That Rolling Square mini 65 Watt charger is going in my kit.
Thanks Jon
Dude one of your lights (LEP) has zero reviews on Amazon after being on there for two months. Super sus. Are they paying you to feature it? I understand affiliate links but is it going past that? Very strange, I have questions. And Spyderco is now 200 richer today.
i had the osprey you had, and i lost it, so now i am using the decathlon one, which i like cause its easier to replace
Great selection. One bought already (well three as I got three items from the bag company) and most of the rest added to the wish list. Thank you.
For breaking glass with the point on the back end of the pen, i think its a matter of pressing pressure instead of mass making a strong impact.
