Wearable Temperature Sensors
When working in extreme temperatures it is important to monitor your body temperature. In freezing weather, your fingers and toes get numb and you can develop frostbite without even noticing it. Likewise, if your core body temperature drops too low, you can start to start to suffer the effects of hypothermia before you are aware of it.
Cool but more likely to add tinnitus on top of frostbite X3
thanks
Cool
where is the link of the code bro ty
"Wearable Temperature Sensors" In other words known as skin
Why would you use an arduino for this? Arduinos are too clunky and large for stuff like this, and the arduino I have is the mega…. Why not use a microchip instead? I can’t remember what microchip it was, but you program it with the arduino, and is really small.
very gooooooooooooood
>Extreme temperatures
>Barely an inch of snow
What, are you in california or something? We got -29C and 7 inches of snow this week and the worst that happened is being stuck in traffic to and from work.
if you’re gonna bother with wearing wires all over why not just also put in heat pads so it you can regulate the temperature instead of just knowing you’re cold
Kind of a waste of space. That has 28 pins and you only used 5.
Guys, guys. You don’t have to use a Arduino if you don’t want to. He uses an Arduino because majority of the audience is comfortable with it. Have an idea to make it smaller? Post it, show it off, but no need to bitch about the video not having it.
This is actually a nice idea, so I might build my own. The difference will be the controller, of course. I will make a set of 4 systems. Each is a small PCB with Attiny85 and temp controller soldered on. Thin wires go to the sensors in fingers/toe areas. Each system will be completely independent to prevent annoying tangles, will be powered by watch batteries, and have a low-voltage but incredibly annoying piezo buzzer to alert me when temps get dangerous.
Who needs this? If your body is cold, you feel it…

can you guys really not make anything without arduino anymore
What about using it for heatstroke
Or, you know, get better gloves and shoes?
Neat project though, but could definitely do with a lot of miniaturization still, like using a smaller Arduino, or even still just an attiny.
Here, have fun making the same thing with a red LED and x1000 more smaller and cheaper circuit

Could I do this with a screen? like have a small screen on my wrist like a wrist watch?
Yeah this is so useful if your real body sensors not sensing temperature changes
it’s very useful for live. especially then drunken man fall to sleep in snow )
where can I find the code ? please help
In finland we spit in the air and if it freezes before hitting the ground one will know it is time to dig up another layer of socks from the drawer
Really going the lazy route with the arduino here. A very simple comparator circuit would suffice…
it useful if you use it on a dirt bike or a car , not on yourself
Or you could just feel when you hands are getting to cold…? If you need this ardrino thing for that…. Your …. A bit… Special
Where is the coding ? Doing a project similar to this one. If you still have the coding that’ll be very helpful
