Best Portable Projector? Anker Nebula Capsule 3 vs Capsule 3 Laser

This is my comparison of the NEBULA Capsule 3 vs NEBULA Capsule 3 Laser. Both are small and portable, built-in battery and speaker, and can bring the cinematic watching experience anywhere you go. In this video I’ll show you the similarities and differences, and by the end you’ll have a better idea which is the better fit for you. Big thanks to Anker NEBULA for sponsoring this video.

    Open Questions:
    – Does the HDMI supports ARC/eARC ?
    – Can the sound of the media be redirected to a Bluetooth speaker or AV ?
    – How much does it cost and where can we do the replacement the bulbs ?

I can’t believe the laser one costs $750. Like what?

  9. @50450720 on September 29, 2025 at 12:49 am

These are way too dim to be used in anything other than a pitch back room, picture quality is average upto 70 inches but poor at anything bigger. Sound quality is poor and volume is adequate for a bedroom or other such sized room.
On the plus side its easy to set up and very portable, your kids will love it for their bedroom viewing, or for holiday use or out camping etc.
Retail price is ridiculously expensive for the image quality you get.

Can you cast movies on either devices?
On my camping trips with no internet service I like to download movies from streaming services. Would I be able to cast these movies?

I’m going to go on a hunch here and say the laser would be the best bet for outdoor use considering it has 100 more lumen than the regular version. Too bad the laser doesn’t come with the Google UI. I want to jump on this tonight considering the huge sale Nebula is having.

I have a cube size Big Bang movie projector. It is only 720p, but it has 10,000 contrast ratio; audio is low, but with a bluetooth speaker, it’s loud. It’s the smallest one I have and I can take it anywhere. However, the battery doesn’t last long and so I have to rely on power. I had an app before, but now I can’t find it. I also have several projectors. One that can project onto the table and I can watch movies, and interact with it by touching the table. I got one from china, but it cannot use netflix. I regret it. It projects really nice, but only for chinese market. My LG pf50ka is also nice, but it doesn’t have auto focus. If I have money, I would buy more projectors. I love them more than tv

  33. @jamesbrittain9564 on September 29, 2025 at 1:14 am

Nebula and XGIMI projectors – DO NOT HAVE MUTE BUTTONS!! Who wants to be forced to listen to commercials? I don’t care how good the projector is!

  40. @himgod6495 on September 29, 2025 at 1:21 am

Booty tight jeans are in style these days (on MEN). The average guy can even fit a pack of gum in his pocket. These projectors are not fitting in pockets.

  41. @Hashcarbunesti on September 29, 2025 at 1:23 am

The pickles that survived WW1 are making the projectors uninteresting.

  42. @Duncan_1971 on September 29, 2025 at 1:24 am

I’d like to get the laser one. Is it likely to burn the wall i.e. should I use a screen? I’ll be in rented property so don’t want to damage the decor.

  43. @atthismoment3006 on September 29, 2025 at 1:24 am

  44. @davide9410 on September 29, 2025 at 1:25 am
