Does the NVR need to be hard lined to the router?

  2. @swedishbob_7315 on September 28, 2025 at 12:43 am

Can’t wait for it to be available in Australia

  3. @StupidDumbassChild on September 28, 2025 at 12:45 am

Is this WiFi camera?? and if not is it coming in the future???

  4. @DesiHeart on September 28, 2025 at 12:46 am

It advertises expandable storage upto 16 TB, but no one talks about it supports 2.5” SATA, and there is no 2.5” SATA 16 TB HDD in market, all 16TB comes in 3.5”, so literally you can’t extend it to 16TB using HDD. There are few 16TB 2.5” SSD drives but they cost in thousands. What stopped them to support 3.5” if they really wanted expandable.

I wonder how the tracking cameras would deal with the ice/snow conditions….

  6. @artnotes on September 28, 2025 at 12:47 am

Does it have RSTP stream to support 3rd network NVR?

  7. @grymmd on September 28, 2025 at 12:47 am

No Eufy desktop app is a disappointment

  8. @Beer_goggles on September 28, 2025 at 12:50 am

am i able to have 2 or 3 monitors in my house viewing the camera feeds?

  9. @andyviking3155 on September 28, 2025 at 12:50 am

Eufy problem still persists, which is playback.
Playback is extremely laggy regardless how fast your internet speed is.
    Reolink is way more responsive.
I like eufy video quality but laggy playback is why I switched to Reolink. Video quality is not the best but playback is responsiveness is great.

Sticking with my other Eufy cameras if they can’t be integrated with this system.

I have the home base and this seems like a waste if I can’t still use it.

Ashame, because I like the ability to monitor 2 directions.

  15. @HaiLsKuNkY on September 28, 2025 at 12:57 am

Doesn’t work with Apple home kit?

  16. @-musiclee- on September 28, 2025 at 12:58 am

Sad that this new “pro” camera has inferior Night Color Vision (Starlight) as compared to the cheaper S3 Pro (Max Color Vision, Daylike) and of course no Apple Home Kit support on this as has the S3 Pro, is this really an update? Yes it has a 2k pan and tilt, big deal.

  18. @JohnTheDon_G on September 28, 2025 at 1:01 am

Big question I have is what do you do if you’re worried about newer stuff coming out or something you didn’t realize was available, what do people do? Sell their stuff or just get rid of it or what? What if you get something but few years later you didn’t realize you liked something better? Is usually just the camera that need changed before the wiring and or nvr/dvr?

I want to get a wired system for my house. But make sure it’s future proof for a very long time and have very good cameras one and done
( i have a security guy that would install anything I needed ) . I don’t know if anyone’s heard of these Sengled flood light bulb cameras iv been using those but time to go wired and it seems like the servers.Or something have been shut down on these like what are people supposed to do with them now. Even if i did have them since 2019

  19. @RPGWiZaRD on September 28, 2025 at 1:01 am

I would love for Reolink to release a TrackMix 2 camera with similar functionality, this camera alone gets me interested in Eufy (although lack of PoE options and desktop software appearently which bogs my mind and Home Assistant support keeps me away still), also the UI is ahead of Reolink. It’s the perfect camera for me in terms of having two lenses that can watch different angles and thus cover a large view (also good for corner mounting being able to watch two sides simultaneously) and with a tracking auto-zoom lens that zooms in on the object also when the static lense sees something, I would love to have a camera like this, could make good use of it on my property and probably replace my 2x TrackMix and Duo 2 with these, just not ready to jump ship to Eufy (yet).

I wonder if my bell can be integrated quickly, along with some other wifi indoor cams. Nice system, On my shortlist.

  25. @cstone605 on September 28, 2025 at 1:06 am

  26. @DaniloyMonica on September 28, 2025 at 1:07 am

Hello. In your opinion, talking about the camera specifically, which one has better quality? The eufy 4K S4 MAX NVR Security System or the Reolink Duo 3V PoE
    ? Thank you.

  27. @D0TELL on September 28, 2025 at 1:08 am

I would get this if I knew how to set it up.

  28. @ivankhachekian8709 on September 28, 2025 at 1:10 am

I have a Reolink POE nvr system with 6 cameras + doorbell. I am considering switching over to EUFY due to lack of AI and other features. Can you please make a video were you compare the notification speed and load to live view times? Because it feels like reolinks live view load time is terrible compared to TAPO.

  29. @LeeB-o3x on September 28, 2025 at 1:11 am

Lh can stupid people that live next door to us stop your recording or turn on the lights with a beam please help me my friend i stay next to real stupid people 😒

  30. @DannyT636 on September 28, 2025 at 1:11 am

Seems like a good system, I know its a Poe nvr what about can it be attacked or jammed as we all know or want something that cant be attacked. Thanks Excellent video.

  31. @PascalJcb on September 28, 2025 at 1:12 am

What do you think about the Unifi NVR Instant Kit ?

  32. @UntamedOutlooks on September 28, 2025 at 1:13 am

Why would you need WiFi adapter if your connected via Ethernet?

  33. @nayemkabir on September 28, 2025 at 1:14 am

Sorry….how does this differ from S4 NVR?

From what I can see the only difference is that S4 max gives you 4 x 360 degree cams while S4 gives only 2 x 360 degree cams coupled with 2 x bullet cams.

    Is that correct?

Would appreciate if a comparison video could be done

  34. @duanellamas87 on September 28, 2025 at 1:14 am

I’m looking into upgrading from my current blink system I’ve had for 6 years. I’m thinking eufy. What would you recommend? I would like 4k.

  35. @Eric-w5r3z on September 28, 2025 at 1:16 am

    Finally. Looks good

  36. @MEAToftheWORDsermons4theMATURE on September 28, 2025 at 1:19 am

Question for you. Would this Eufy POE NVR be compatible with Reolink POE RLC 823S1 cameras?

  37. @CDPerez25 on September 28, 2025 at 1:21 am

Do you know if I attach my own switch to it if I can expand the quantity of camera’s? For example to 32 cams?

  38. @bingoTit on September 28, 2025 at 1:22 am

one problem I have with wired poe is that I’d love to have it in my tv media cabinet…but obviously I wouldn’t want 8 to 16 Ethernet cables routing out of it.
is there any way that you can use some sort of bridge, where all the cameras connect to it from a single point?

I often feel this is missed with all nvr poe and why wireless ends up preferred. it’d be nice to have say a box that goes in the loft/basement/bedroom with all the cameras connected. then a single Ethernet cable to an nvr by the tv

  39. @jimh6445 on September 28, 2025 at 1:25 am

Does the AI work well or does it track bugs and cars, etc?

  40. @daveninjaneuro7089 on September 28, 2025 at 1:25 am

These are not good for license plates unfortunately :/

  41. @leonfisher on September 28, 2025 at 1:27 am

I just had another Riolink NVR camera bite it. So, looking for an alternative. Thanks!

  42. @jeremycook9094 on September 28, 2025 at 1:27 am

Can this system trigger a smartthings or alexa to do a routine?

  43. @anrivera1975 on September 28, 2025 at 1:28 am

Received my NVR 4 max today, I have few questions. How you can zoom the video when playback? And how to activate an alarm event?

  44. @nitnit202 on September 28, 2025 at 1:29 am

Thanks for another top notch review . Have been waiting for Eufy to bring out something like this. You mentioned a wifi unit add on that is coming hopefully soon …. so there will be no need for the home base 3 using this system? and we can add our s340 floodlights, etc, direct ( via wifi module ) to nvr ?
    Thanks

  45. @nmeister67 on September 28, 2025 at 1:31 am

15:22 Cross camera tracking! I’ve been waiting for somthng like this with Reolink for years, even just the ability to swich cameras and maintain the timeframe! I love Reolink and still think their one of the best secutity system opions out there, but they are falling behind with the UI and Ai detection game. With Eufy entering the PoE game, they need to get to work 😅

  46. @mikem669 on September 28, 2025 at 1:32 am

If you have any way to make product improvement suggestion to Eufy……..
I am trashing my Swann systems forever and going with the S4 Max.
One nice feature with Swann was having the ability to place the watermark timestamp anywhere on the screen. So far, i cannot find a way to move it from the top right corner and it can be very difficult to see when the sky or a bright background is behind. Having the ability to place it would be a really welcomed option. Could that be added to a future firmware update?

  47. @threedotsonedash on September 28, 2025 at 1:37 am

I’m done watching @3:45 after you mention the NVR only supports Eufy cams. Proprietary crap that will inevitably get a premature EoL (end of life) because of some bs reason.

  48. @postcutclarity on September 28, 2025 at 1:37 am

IF i have an existing uefysetup–

can i view it on the app from one list? Can i use 4 cam view on e10 tablet thing with some being the wifi cameras and some being the nvr cameras?

  49. @justme19852 on September 28, 2025 at 1:39 am

Love this camera, wondering if they ever make it like e330 professional cable one, would be definitely buying one for front of the house, the zoom is amazing

  50. @nanfad on September 28, 2025 at 1:40 am

Is there a Desktop windows app to view the NVR? A windows app that can run 24/7 is useful for business purposes.
