I plan on adding the Aqara U200 smart lock, as its matter compatible, HomeKit, and homekey compatible and is RETRO FIT,
I am interested in turning my apartment "smart", my girlfriend and I are moving soon and plan to be there for a few years at least. Our network is managed by our landlord, 500/500 speed with no accessible router in unit (completely managed community wifi). Will this cause any problems?

Do NOT recommend SwitchBot products. Cheap Chinese knockoffs with horrible software and their support will simply ignore you when trying to return defective products. Look up their BBB Rating, Twitter and Reddit accounts before recommending them. Recommending their products to people is irresponsible. Might as well be honest and tell people to save up a bit more money and buy higher quality products. If someone were to be new and take your advise, they’d have 100 different hubs in their homes with questionable hardware/software and they’d have nothing but headaches. Stop thinking of money and promos and actually give people solid advice instead. This way you’ll organically grow your channel. Unsubscribed.

Is there any Dvr/Nvr that allows cameras to be watched within HomeKit? My old one broke and I have to decide if replacing just the Dvr or replace all 8 cameras 😩
I switched completely to HomeKit devices because of the Matter support. While this means I have a bit less control over automations and devices compared to before, it really simplifies my overall home automation setup

Great informative video, however one correction is needed. The Level lock does have a version, or actually it’s been upgraded and it only has one version now(I have both). The new version IS Home key compatible. You have the option of geo fencing it so that it will automatically unlock the door when you’re returning from outside the geo fenced area, and/or have it unlock by placing your phone or Apple Watch against it.

Thanks for your video, I would like to ask you a question in advance, excuse my ignorance, I have several TP Link EP25 connectors and several Tapo P125M, I configured them with the Home app only when I am at home can I manipulate them with the app, once I leave home and connect to another Wi-Fi network it does not let me control them, all the devices turn gray, that Home app does not allow me to control the devices outside my home
