Haha a handheld rhats not really a handheld 😂 its just a rog ally man yes windows is xbox etc but it cant play games standalone this will definitely fail as far as a concept , this just turned off some features itd still windows so its not a handheld stay away from it just get a andeoid handheld and remoteplay till they bring out a stand alone device.
i do think i’d wait untill microsoft actually release their own handheld system like valve has as i do want to own an actualy xbox handheld
the steam deck feels great in my hands as both sticks are ontop and the bottoms are below the sticks as i may not use them alot but still use them compared to the switch which is so annoying
hopefully they’ll do it properly and can have it like valve’s version where the save games are transferable between the xbox itself and the handheld and i do think i’d play on the handeld on a regular basis whenever i’m on the go
it would also be fun to play locally with a friend who also has an xbox handheld or other people who has the same games who uses local network for example let’s say i play dying light and someone who also plays dying light we could play together and we could do alot of things in the game together and chat face to face what todo and what we can do
can this run on linux OS?
So pretty much if it’s on pc game pass I can play it anywhere anytime?
So does this just stream or you install games?

so im still confused can i download games off of gamepass at least and put it on the system? our is it strictly cloud gaming? If thats the case i can do that with my steam deck and ill pass.

I love my 1st gen Steam Deck. Now that I put on Xbox Game Pass I love being able to play DOOM: The Dark Ages. I just wish the battery lasted longer lol but the Ally X kinda peaked my interest, but I heard that it can also launch Steam and EA games along with a few others. So I hope that’s true because that might make me pick one of these up if they’re not $700 or $800.

It’s the wish/temu version of a handheld, Let’s go over some things Xbox copied from other companies! Sonys CD-ROM they copied, Xbox trophy system is copied from Sony, Xbox copied/ got influenced by Sega Dreamcast controller setup, Xbox hardware was copied/manipulated from other Sony/Nintendo/Sega Consoles so they compiled what they knew worked instead of making something from scratch like everyone else did. Xbox died after the 360 sadly
There’s over 1000 games ok xbox gamepass that can be played on the handheld.
The ROG sounds weird to me. I don’t spell it out but I feel like the O would have a long O sound. So it would sound more like the Rogue ally. Which sounds way cooler to me.

I blame ps portable because they made a bunch of money on a system that mostly streams games and the Xbox one can only play pc ported games. It’s why I don use game pass on my pc this is essentially a better steam deck that just turns off the windows processes.
