dont tie them all together, only tie the main power cables together (monitor, pc, light, etc.). cables like keyboard, mouse, speakers, or other usb cables you can ziptie separately, hide them on across the under cage, but dont jumble it all under. or else you want to replace a speaker or a mouse and you end up pulling all the cords and cables out and what could’ve been a 2 minute swap turns into a 15 minute ordeal.
I was about to comment "there is only one ikea in my country and is a six hour drive away", but i double checked and now there are two more ikeas and the newest one is just a two hour drive away.
I’ll never understand why everyone is using this types of desk with nothing to hide the cables. My desk has a wood panel across it’s whole length at the rear side so all the cables are hidden behind it basically without any effort at all. I just plug everything in and that’s it.
Where’s the cable management? Looks like a damn rats nest. Let me know when you actually manage your cables because bundling them up in a mess under your desk, isn’t it.
One my cords arenโt that long, two my outlet is right behind my desk and three thereโs a part of my desk blocking the outlet so I canโt just fit that thing in between the desk and the wall without there being a gap like there already is due to my cords having to go on the floor
Too many people over do their cable management and irreversibly tie down things that don’t need to be tied down as hard as they are. What happens if you have to disconnect something or rearrange something
Who is this video for? It is definitely not for anyone who has tried to or wants to cable manage but can’t figure out how, because literally the first thing out of your mouth is an insult to those people.
I’d like to disagree, don’t just shove your cables and be out of sight, cause guess, when you have replace and/or remove them you’ll be battling to untie them. Although it’ll take longer, I’d like to recommend actually making a cable route. It’ll save you more in the long run
Nah imma just leave it lookin like the Amazon rainforest behind my desk, too much work but imma still spend multiple times as long swapping out components when I get upgrades
Yeah idk if this would work for me๐ I’ve got 3 monitors, prompter, multiple cameras, multiple lights, docking station for laptop compatibility that doubles the cords….
Is that a mac keyboard?
Iโve seen all I need to see.
โ it doesnโt have to look goodโ proceeds with cable management caption. ๐คก
Can also simply not look at the cables ๐
What type of desk legs are those?
Im not even using cable ties, i use tape๐
Yeah the lazy way
Need that chair
My OCD knows the unmanaged cables are just concealed. But yes, it is simple to manage cables.
do it with a laptop then
Wait so is ur monitor cables ran thru the wall or where are the cables for that. Serious question
was

I have to put the again and again every fkn week

Just put pillows or a banket iver IT Thatโs whatever i did๐
You shoved all your cables in a tray. Thatโs not cable management lol. Cable management is difficult. What you did here is not.
yeah but cable management within cable management is so…..stressful, yet so satisfying when done
Instead of cleaning the mess you just move the mess ๐
Where’s the cable management? Looks like a damn rats nest. Let me know when you actually manage your cables because bundling them up in a mess under your desk, isn’t it.
Did i just see a Apple Magic Keyboard in a gaming setup?!
All fun and games until something happens and you cant find the faulty cable
I did cable management on my 15 years old laptop(on the mother board)
Buddy, that is cable hiding and not cable management ๐
Bro desk name?
I want that desk right now
One my cords arenโt that long, two my outlet is right behind my desk and three thereโs a part of my desk blocking the outlet so I canโt just fit that thing in between the desk and the wall without there being a gap like there already is due to my cords having to go on the floor

anyone have any ideas how I can cover the bottom of the desk in an easy to access way cuz when my cat is underneath he will jump up
Bruh I have a very small room and my desk is connected to my sliding wardrobe/closet and they have no gaps at all, none at the back and both sides
Nah imma just leave it lookin like the Amazon rainforest behind my desk, too much work but imma still spend multiple times as long swapping out components when I get upgrades
"It’s not that hard", yet this mf says "you don’t gotta make it look good"๐๐๐
You just hid the cables, this is not cable "management". You’re just coping with the fact you’re not good at it by telling others not to complicate it
Can you make a long video on how to do it?
im on a laptop and im still struggling with cables
Why in the world is there even that many cables lol
Why you scamed me for 200$
I am moving my PC place regularly or taking keyboard, headphones and mouse for lan parties so can’t do that
Yeah idk if this would work for me๐ I’ve got 3 monitors, prompter, multiple cameras, multiple lights, docking station for laptop compatibility that doubles the cords….
