Samsung's crazy new product for CES 2016: a smart / fitness belt (WELT)!
Samsung’s Creative Lab team have come up with some awesome new gadgets for CES 2016, including a smart belt (WELT) and a way to play music without headphones or speakers (TipTalk)! Move over, Fitbit and Beats, because these new products, as weird as they sound, just might revolutionize the tech industry.

Notes:
– CES Las Vegas is due to kick off in a couple of days, and tech companies are preparing to launch some exciting new products.
– One of the most interesting is the Samsung WELT – a device that is one of the world’s first smartbelts.
– It looks like a normal belt, but can measure the user’s waist size, eating habits, number of steps taken, and time spent sitting down.
– This information can then be fed to a smartphone app that will give recommendations about exercise and nutrition.
– A product from the company’s Creative Lab, which apparently “encourages out of the box thinking”, and this is certainly a pretty interesting concept.
– Smartbelts are nothing new though – I found another product called “Belty Good Vibes”, which was announced at last year’s CES.
According to their website, is an “autonomous wearable that integrates artificial intelligence to promote a healthy lifestyle”. Hmmm.
– It suggests when you should take power naps, when breathing exercises are required. It also integrates with a smartphone app.
– But back to Samsung, and the WELT is not only innovative product they’ve got planned for CES. They’re also going to introduce TipTalk, which allows you to hear sound from your smart devices without using earbuds. Basically, it’s a watch strap that can be hooked up to smartwatches like the Gear S2, and lets you hear songs and take calls simply by holding your finger against your ear. Wow.
The smart belt? Hilarious! 🙂
That’s why I love Samsung.. there always trying bring something New to the table..
whats next? a smart dildo? -.-
