  2. @uhkhl on June 18, 2025 at 6:24 pm

    Thank You

  4. @jspau on June 18, 2025 at 6:28 pm

Not quite so simple – you also need to make sure that the screw head is the correct size, and also drive in the screws enough that the mounted board doesn’t have too much wiggle room.

  5. @debatedate on June 18, 2025 at 6:28 pm

This is a brilliant tip! I’m 53 years old and have never seen this before! Thank you for posting it and not adding any fluff to your video! Subscribed!

  6. @John_Locke_108 on June 18, 2025 at 6:30 pm

I’ve tried this and for some reason it rarely works out because you still need to put the tape on straight.

  7. @danarcotta1283 on June 18, 2025 at 6:31 pm

    Ingenious!

  8. @Kinosec-10 on June 18, 2025 at 6:32 pm

Great! And if you also put a separate piece of blue tape on the ends of the power strip, it will help you ensure that you are in the right location with the long blue strip before you put the mounting screws in

  9. @DYI on June 18, 2025 at 6:33 pm

I just use a piece of plain white paper and use the side of the pencil to trace out the outline of the entire key hold. No tape needed.

  10. @DanG-ug1ed on June 18, 2025 at 6:33 pm

I have never seen a power strip that had screw holes lined up straight.

  29. @jakenuno9900 on June 18, 2025 at 6:58 pm

Here’s a bonus trick, flip the 2 sides around so it sticks to the power strip tight and flat, push the strip to the wall and have the tape stick itself to the wall for a perfectly aligned tape job, no estimating needed!

  30. @soupwizard on June 18, 2025 at 6:59 pm
