Thank you 🙏 so much. Industrial ear muffs 😊 the best !!!
I have just started using loops. Still dabbling.
At the grand age of 57 yrs old in the last few years realising I am neuro divergent and learning about myself in a brand new beautiful way 💛✨
My question is, when listening to lectures, audio books etc in public places. What is the best way to go about this.
I have bone conducting ear phones, with my loops. Is there a better way forward than this.
Thank you 🙏 for sharing, its awesome 💛✨💛✨

Thank you for commenting on using the Loop Quiets in everyday situations! All other reviews just review them for sleep (which I mean that what they are sold for), but I’m looking to get them to go to the supermarket etc, so this was really helpfull!

  3. @TheArsenal8Club on April 28, 2025 at 3:18 pm

    What about sleeping with muffs

  4. @CameraGirl011 on April 28, 2025 at 3:18 pm

My guess is the 3 in 1 along with the link. 😊

  5. @christopherberry8519 on April 28, 2025 at 3:19 pm

You made it obvious when you said combination IMHO but good on you for making a bit of sonic space to relax in.
Good for you too for using them to get a bit of adult recognition that you may be needing your space signalling with them big cans.
My daughter struggles and uses loop switches even in lectures – I think she gets it from me because I get very annoyed at mindless noise, adverts and people being very unapologetically loud without reason.
I tried 3M industrial earplugs and I’m pretty sure that my work rate went through the roof. Only downside was that I was exhausted afterwards.
I’d like to have a serious discussion about whether this is indicative of autism (I haven’t been diagnosed) or whether there is a benefit for everyone to have some quiet space.
Strange that I’m a LOUD guitarist though – or maybe it isn’t strange… No idea?

The ones that switch noise levels.

  7. @cherylyoke4872 on April 28, 2025 at 3:20 pm

I think most neuro typicals would think youre just listening to Music.

  8. @joneaton3366 on April 28, 2025 at 3:22 pm

Just went to order my loops from your vid too

  9. @lovorka3321 on April 28, 2025 at 3:23 pm

I used Link too and lost my loops. Don’t recommend Link. It’s absurd how little security they give. It’s almost like it’s ment to make you loose them and buy new 😫

  10. @kplusr1596 on April 28, 2025 at 3:25 pm

As an audhd someone who works in retail and has the pressure to approach and greet every single person (because retail be retail). I also totally understand neurodivergance and how people sometimes want to be let the hell alone. If anyone comes I to the store with headphones on I try to smile and not but also leave them alone til they ask for help. Honestly, them having the bigger earmuffs helps me identify and honour their needs.

  11. @annaburch3200 on April 28, 2025 at 3:25 pm

You helped me narrow down the options I need for my Misphonia. Thank you! Giving your combo a try. Although I don’t need the big earmuffs for everyday use, I think they will come in handy when our neighbors are using their generators, lawn blowers, kids screaming and when we go to airshows (I always meant to have them there, but never did. LOADS of people do. I think I’ll be happier with them). And I’m giving Loops a try. Hoping for better blood pressure and a happier me!! Thank you!

If I get the Loop Switch, I’ll need to Gaffa Tape the connectors so they won’t separate!

  14. @KonekoEalain on April 28, 2025 at 3:27 pm

I’ve been enjoying the Loop Engage (just upgraded to the Engage 2 recently). I might consider the 3-in-1 someday but the Engage is great for working with school age kiddos. I find myself anxious when there is a lot of sounds and a lot of loud sounds (such as a class full of kids shouting or students having some emotional dysregulation) and my Loop earplugs really help cut down on the anxiety.

I think my favorite thing about all the Loops is that you can custom fit them with the different ear-pieces.

  15. @turtlesauce6860 on April 28, 2025 at 3:27 pm

What I really need is for something to block out things like people chewing/cracking/popping gum or speech things like harsh whistling sibilant "s" sounds – can the Loop earplugs do that?

  16. @Ethaniel_UK on April 28, 2025 at 3:28 pm

But can you sleep with the switch plugs in? like laying down with one ear on the pillow!

  17. @auriol42 on April 28, 2025 at 3:28 pm

Gonna guess before watching the rest of the video that the winning combination is the industrial ear muffs along with the Loop Quiet. I’ve actually done that with the first gen Loop Quiets and it’s so 🤫

  18. @maxleong304 on April 28, 2025 at 3:29 pm

i recall my first encounter with Loops was with your videos. got my first after watching then. it is decent, but i wish Loops is inclusive of Oceania when shipping their latest edition. i saw they now launch one for sleep; and i do not know if it’s better than Loop Quiet. problem is, they launched Loop original series with an improved version. not sure if it’s a marketing tactic or actual upgrade. looks different and it does have subtle differences to their marketing description on product. my one qualm with earplugs is that i long to listen to audio that help me to keep my mind from external sound as well as calming my mind’s nonstop yapping. with Loops, it help to reduce the external, but i was left with my thoughts not calm. i tried to look around for sleep earbuds, but each feels less promising than the next, plus i’m a side sleeper; an added challenge.

  19. @PamelaColor on April 28, 2025 at 3:29 pm

Got them because of you review. What a waste of money, time ordering them, etc

  20. @mamamememoo on April 28, 2025 at 3:30 pm

I actually like the Switch because I really can feel the difference. I usually have it on the most open setting but when I’m in a lecture hall and someone chats, I have to set it to the more closed setting. ^^

  21. @joeb5968 on April 28, 2025 at 3:31 pm

i am looking for permanent noise cancelling earplugs that wrap completely around your ear lobes and are waterproof that cant get stuck in your ears for sleeping and swimming that are not like any of your ear plugs they all suck for sleeping and swimming.

  22. @Gary-kd4ry on April 28, 2025 at 3:31 pm

Thanks for the video. I’ve recently realised that I am a lot more affected by sound than I had realised

I was looking at the switch 2, but I was also considering individual ones so thanks for your thoughts on that. (I also have some ear defenders in my virtual basket!)

  23. @starfoxloves on April 28, 2025 at 3:32 pm

I have the Flare Calmer earbuds and they work well but the logo engraving tickles my ears in an unpleasant way. I still use them almost all the time. I also have Sony WH-1000xm4 noise cancelling headphones that I will wear over the earbuds if I want to listen to calming music or ASMR. They block out most sounds. I have recently purchased ear defenders like yours and while I don’t care for the way they squeeze my head, when you need that level of quiet, it’s worth the tradeofff.

  24. @Simply_Helen on April 28, 2025 at 3:34 pm

    Headphones

  25. @ellich0005 on April 28, 2025 at 3:39 pm

I’ve never been tested for or diagnosed with any disorder but I find it very draining and irritating when I’m around a lot of noise, especially at school. I can’t focus, I get tired easily just by being there. I’ve been planning to buy my very first earplug for sometime now.

Thank you so much for sharing your insights, I got a lot of useful ideas that i can apply with my self and what will be my next purchase.

I think that It would be really amazing to experience the world having toned down noise, so i can finally feel comfortable in social situations.

  26. @eric2500 on April 28, 2025 at 3:40 pm

A bad feature of the earplugs on wires is that they could be easy to lose if you wear masks or jewelry, or glasses, or all three at time- and those big old earmuffs don’t look so practical for wearing with winter hats.

  27. @billmorley3530 on April 28, 2025 at 3:40 pm

I am a wedding photographer who works at noisy receptions. The DJ typically cranks the sound to ear-shattering decibles, maintaining the pounding racket over the course of several hours, so my industrial ear muffs do the job every time.

  28. @estreet83 on April 28, 2025 at 3:43 pm

I absolutely hate having anything around my neck, so the Loop Link is a no-go for me.

  29. @sumanthsarathi2530 on April 28, 2025 at 3:44 pm

Industrial earmuffs – love love love 💖 its heaven for ears ❣️

  31. @Wonderfully_Wired on April 28, 2025 at 3:46 pm

I bought a pair of earmuffs after watching your video, and boy have they changed my life! 😅

  32. @laura.garay.melero on April 28, 2025 at 3:50 pm

Tomorrow muy earmuffs arrive, i’m gonna try this muffs over loops hack though i was planning other uses for them, never expected they could be used over the loops (i have trouble thinking outside the box) and i might consider even buying a pair of the loops silent 2 + for sleeping, since i’ve been using disposable earplugs for sleeping and the 3 in 1 do not seem suitable for doing so (haven’t tried, though) due to their hard matherial, but they are my on the go favourites for their versatility, since i find myself needing to vary the dB blocking capacity quite often during the day depending on the situation, just like the friend you talk about in this video. These product reviews with real life examples help me to put my money to good use instead of buying whatever and hoping it works, so thanks alot.

  33. @lemondedejane8453 on April 28, 2025 at 3:51 pm

    💗The classic’s are the BEST! 💗
I’v get Switch afterwards and it’s not as comfy as the Quiet Loop.

  34. @19Marc79 on April 28, 2025 at 3:51 pm

Earplugs are a BLESSING 🙏 It never occured to me to wear them in daily-life situations because I saw no one doing it and I was unaware of being autistic. But when I went into the city center on a saturday WITH earplugs for the first time, I was so surprised how EASY it was to be there for hours 🙂 Whereas before I was always drained after just a short time…

  35. @galacticdragon9646 on April 28, 2025 at 3:52 pm

I just stumbled across this as I was looking into the loop switch earplugs as I can’t wear my headphones or earbuds in the office due to the phone but need something that can still allow me to tune out the world when I need to. That being said, since you mentioned the industrial earmuffs, I highly recommend checking out wyze’s noise-cancelling headphones and their earbud pros. They have three modes and the earbuds are just as good at cancelling the noise out as the headphones. I have used both over the years but tend to use the headphones more as I find they are more comfortable. They are fantastic for travel and you will not be able to hear a thing with them on especially if you decide to play music or something (even if it is playing super quietly). They hold a charge of at least 20 hours and are worth every penny. I always recommend this for anyone who is looking for anything that has really good noise-cancelling.

  36. @Ethaniel_UK on April 28, 2025 at 3:52 pm

Trying to work out which ones i can use I can here my neighbour walking around upstairs as i am in a flat, and I can hear her TV on loud which ones would benefit me I suppose. I do love silence, I have samsung galaxy buds 2 with noise cancelling which are fine but dont want to listen to music all day. Also I need something I can sleep with that wont hurt the ear when laying down with me ear on the pillow.. Any info is appreicated I also have autism

  37. @theregoesmarc on April 28, 2025 at 3:53 pm

I use the switch, I work from home so it’s nice to drown out neighbors and landscapers… also like to go to concerts and they really help… it’s always on my keychain and always, always plug then them in at the grocery store…. now if I can only remember to pack my stemming rings, lol

  38. @joannahepworth56 on April 28, 2025 at 3:56 pm

Great video, thank you. Interesting you mentioned you thought you were broadcasting ‘hey I’m autistic’ by wearing the industrial ear defenders, though my first thought was, you just look like you’re wearing wireless headphones and listening to music… I’m a bit older, so are there subtleties I’m not noticing?!

  39. @AliceJaneSyndicate on April 28, 2025 at 4:01 pm

I just got the loop quiet 2s and as soon as I saw the industrial earmuffs I knew that was the new favorite

  40. @drivers99 on April 28, 2025 at 4:03 pm

To completely block out noise (like in my favorite game store when they blast music or Barnes & Noble) I’ve used a white noise app set to “pink noise” with AirPods Pro.

  41. @scarletmontana7 on April 28, 2025 at 4:04 pm

Thanks for your review, I haven’t tried Loop yet but I think I will have a try, I find the industrial noise cancelling earphones so uncomfortable to wear. Maybe it’s the pair I have bought and need to buy an alternative.

  42. @hannahberkelouw3338 on April 28, 2025 at 4:06 pm

Earlier you talked about therapy on line. Do you have a good place for some one with pdd-nos who wants help?

  43. @auriol42 on April 28, 2025 at 4:08 pm

One thought though, the massive earmuffs just look like cool cans (i.e. headphones), so I don’t think people will assume that an individual may have special needs off the bat. More so that the person is listening to something and intentionally obfuscating the sound of the world around them.

Another recommendation is to use noise canceling headphones (I use over ear Sony XM5s) along with the Loop Quiets or noise canceling earbuds—noise canceling plus noise canceling—it works well!. This combo is my go to these days for focused work, as long, as I haven’t lost the in-ear bits somewhere in my flat.

  44. @paulranalli3367 on April 28, 2025 at 4:08 pm

One of my ex work colleagues, who im sure is undiagnosed ADHD… would use our workshop earmuffs in our office in order to help focus and get administration done! Because we had them readily available, he found these highly useful and effective in blocking out the usual office distractions..and we all knew when he had them on we would keep our interruptions to a minimum!

  45. @drivers99 on April 28, 2025 at 4:08 pm

I got the link (cable) in the mail yesterday. It makes a low wind-in-the-wires sound when I walk that goes straight into my ears. It also picks up the sound of the string rubbing against my shirt.

  46. @boursitocard on April 28, 2025 at 4:08 pm

i do the same. Earplus or loops WITH industrial headset. 3m peltor is the way and yes i like the kind of "coming out" it gives whean wearing these publicly. Not that i care, it is much needed when taking the train / bus / walking cities. Must have for reading in public places, too.

  47. @eric2500 on April 28, 2025 at 4:09 pm

Interesting. I am starting to have a little hearing loss but at the same time I can’t hear what I want to hear which is the mid range to low range without the "zzzzhhhhh" of talk at distant restaurant tables obliterating the conversation of the people at my table. The rumble of city trains does not bother me, but the screech does. But do I want to hear the birds twitter outside? And hear the kettle whistle from another room? YES.

  48. @solcitoespero4615 on April 28, 2025 at 4:09 pm

It was very difficult for me NOT to "guess" which was your choice. The happy expression on your face completely betrayed you! 😃 I’m looking for something like this right now because I have great trouble with noise interference. 🤷‍♀
