I use a mesh wifi 6 router with the satellite next to my pc. Ethernet from the satellite to my pc, cant even tell itd not a direct connection to the main router. No added latency at all (yes ive tested that) and perfect wifi for my phone. Lol

  2. @JustDrown on April 16, 2025 at 12:06 pm

Instead of an ethernet use a wifi extender or a wifi adapter which is better then both

  3. @Donut_018 on April 16, 2025 at 12:07 pm

Bros got a 4090 but can’t afford rgb fan in the back

  4. @newguy3588 on April 16, 2025 at 12:08 pm

Anything with wifi 6 is awesome, and you can get one for 80 bucks.

  5. @nickrshorts on April 16, 2025 at 12:08 pm

  15. @demo7592 on April 16, 2025 at 12:15 pm

I just bought whatever router. I usually review its functions before I bought it. Everything that claim gaming are overpriced. My old router sucks because it was 3 years old and many people like to use the wifi without permission from outside of my house. Now, with my new router, I can ban their ip. My old router can’t do that.

  16. @SleezyBeChillin on April 16, 2025 at 12:15 pm

    That pc massive 😂

  17. @seannesbit2218 on April 16, 2025 at 12:16 pm

    100 foot cable!
"Gamer" anything is a cash grab. I have a 6e router. Non-gamer, cost $100 bucks less than the lowest "gamer" model.

  18. @recherth.robert on April 16, 2025 at 12:17 pm

Just buy a fucking long cable. It will be still faster and fully stable with lowest latencies. And its dirt cheap. Gaming routers are the biggest scam.

  19. @BaMbOoZeD on April 16, 2025 at 12:18 pm

Just use a mesh setup, then you’re good to go. They are affordable too with wifi-6 also.

  20. @vapidgamingxhdx4309 on April 16, 2025 at 12:19 pm

You see I just wanted to point out the playstation 2 sized graphics card toy stuffed in there

  21. @baskarafahlevy8980 on April 16, 2025 at 12:22 pm

Buying cable is dirt cheap, and better stability. I’m stickimg with wired setup lol

  22. @Scouter5050 on April 16, 2025 at 12:23 pm

In NZ, we don’t even have access to speeds over 1gbps and that’s what I currently have. So how are we supposed to get full speeds?

  23. @JackSkel511 on April 16, 2025 at 12:23 pm

I feel called out because I do have a 100 foot Ethernet cable in my apartment

  24. @YaGirlZero on April 16, 2025 at 12:23 pm

If you have an expensive computer, you can run a cable.

  25. @steven__7009 on April 16, 2025 at 12:25 pm

Just get a 200 unifi wap with wifi 6

  26. @WCGwkf on April 16, 2025 at 12:27 pm

The rule of ethernet is always better is going away with wifi 6 and 7. Im running wifi 6 and let me tell you, its fast and low latency. I was on wifi for a while and thought it was ethernet. With my equipment and testing of my setup there wasnt a difference of latency or speeds

  27. @stojicgaming893 on April 16, 2025 at 12:27 pm

I mean technically a decent enough router with a decent internet plan should be fine for most

  28. @aungsan7541 on April 16, 2025 at 12:31 pm

Just get a Wi-Fi extender and hook it up with Ethernet to your pc. Ethernet cable costs like 15£ if you ain’t got one laying around and the extender costs as low as 15£ too.

  29. @gnobba on April 16, 2025 at 12:31 pm

Its just a router with rgb.

  30. @saliosnoctin7797 on April 16, 2025 at 12:33 pm

….I use a 6 foot ethernet cable…who uses a 100ft one and why is it so far away from the modem? Oh right some people have larger homes….never mind.

  31. @fnoigy on April 16, 2025 at 12:33 pm

    *latencies
You NEVER use apostrophes when you make a noun plural

  32. @admiralgamers7181 on April 16, 2025 at 12:34 pm

Instead of gaming router I went with $2000 for a unifi efg

  35. @bgjck on April 16, 2025 at 12:38 pm

Too bad CenturyLink locks their customers into using their garbage routers

  36. @pcsurgeontheoriginal8015 on April 16, 2025 at 12:40 pm

At 400$ I can buy a roll of cable, a crimper, a drill and fishers. Then run a line innthe wall under the floor, or in the ceiling for less than that. Or just pu it under the carpet. Best parr is the cable you run will still work when the 400$ router is outdated.

  37. @fimbles1015 on April 16, 2025 at 12:40 pm

You need some kind of support for that GPU.

Are these routers a monthly subscription also like the one you have at home?? Or do you pay for the router and jts built in?

  49. @doomslayer81 on April 16, 2025 at 1:02 pm

that’s why using Asus AiMesh wifi system is really neccessary because you can even connect up to 3 asus aimesh routers with wifi or ethernet cable and it has a mobile app called "asus router" and you can setup a custom software to these aimesh routers and there are some price/performance routers like RT AX55

  50. @jamessaibu7582 on April 16, 2025 at 1:02 pm

Yes u would rather a 100ft ethernet because even tho that could cost 100 dollars its better than 350
