Imagine using these at night on an asshole behind you who refuses to cut his brights off and insists on riding your ass! Just 2 seconds would be enough.
I have the SR32. I really only use it to βwowβ people lol. Personally its just to large and heavy to use functionally in my opinion
The Sun is mind-bogglingly bright, shining at about 36 octillion (3.6 x 1028) or 36 thousand trillion trillion lumens. This brightness (or intensity) falls off with distance from the source by a factor of 1/d2, where d2 is the square of the distance.
The fan sounds like a boing taking off must be annoying
I got the sr32 for $450 and lights up the whole camping site
I made a 10k ish lumen flashlight for 70 bucks in 2012 . Its housed in the 6volt everteady 5 dollar flashlight body. Has an hour run time no duty cycle 6s2p 18650 mattched junk laptop batteries and half of a dell server fan and half the server heatsync I Just upgraded to a 3590 cree in 2025 and was very disappointed. That cree was 60 bucks and rated at 14k Cree vs 15 year old Chinese square led = not any noticeable difference. Except alot more heat from the cree.
The other day I was reflecting on all the futuristic tech-promises that haven’t yet come to pass during my 40 years on the planet. We don’t have flying cars. Nobody’s living on the moon. Fusion power remains a work in progress.
But you know, certain weird things _have_ far surpassed anyone’s expectationsβlike flashlights, for instance. Flashlights are _amazing_ now, compared to what I had as a kid. Remember when a Mag-Light with D-Cells was basically the pinnacle of portable illumination? You can now get a penlight that is far superior. Today’s "big" flashlights are basically portable suns. Still waiting on that flying car, but it’s nice sometimes to stop and appreciate the progress that has been made.
The only way you substantiate the lumens is with a calorie measuring device, not looking around.
Where is your dad
Weβve never been out of the planet so Iβm not surprise
I have the SR-32, and the X-75 with extended battery pack, among many others lol.
I consider both of those as my top two lights, and the SR-16 not far behind. I like the SR16 because it has a beautiful colored light, I just wish it had an extended battery pack option.
On a side note, I’ve noticed that a lot of these insanely powerful lights tend to off-gas some chemicals when on turbo mode, and it permanently fogs up the inside of the glass.
I wonder if there is a way to fix this…
BTW, is Matt your father?
I know those are insanely hot running. My ole 10K Lumen Nebo gets hot enough to mildly burn my hand after a few minutes on "turbo"(full 10K). Those lights you have are amazingly disgustingly fun toys! Love it! I’ll stay under 20,000L, because I grazed my eyes with an 18K Davinci on high, then spent 4 days with a spot in my vision. These lights are dangerous for your eyes and your lights could blind an idiot like me. Haha. I’ll let you be careful with mini stars in your house. Haha
Looks like it’s snowing in the light beam.
I have the ms18.
It has broken twice, even though i am a careful person
First time was a charging issue.
I would not recharge the battery. After the company made it difficult, i was able to exchange it. The new one cracked the front glass due to heat from the leds.
They did not stand by their product.
I was mad, as it wasnβt cheap, and didnβt hold up to use. I would advise against buying this companyβs products.
what about the ms18 at $335?
I have the MS12 mini. I think the fans are a gimmick They make allot of noise but push very little air.
Just bought a MS32, cant wait to get it.
Impressive !!!
I have imalent ld70 and acebeam x75 and imalent ms18 or sr32
I got my ms18 when they first came out. Wow, it was a lot less expensive then( 5yrs ago+ or -) i don’t mess around with it all that often but for what it is, it’s hard to beat the fact that it seems to work just as it did when new. The batteries in this thing are phenomenal. after noticing and watching your review I got it out and messed around with it a bit .I know it had been mo’s but before charging it was still around 15v under load . I hope that those that have spent the bucks on the newer toys have just as good a luck.
I believe Iβm going with the ace beam, especially since the Cree manufacturing facilities are a half hour away from my house
After some vids, chose the x75 acebeam. Enough for any need of ours. Got the 67k lumen leds in it
if i had to say something about all of these, why cannot they make them with non propietary pack? Some users actually use these lights for something else than showing off, but for instance somwhere offroad. not only are propietary batteries expensive/difficult to fix if they fail, but also, propietary battery becomes very annoying, if you are planning to use the light for a long time in a row, as often you really need quite a lot of light continuously. in that point, with the propietary batteries you have to wait for them few hours to charge up, or get another propietary overpriced battery pack so that you can actually use the flashlight. with a user replaceable batteries, you can charge many of them during day, and then replace them during operation when they go flat, perhaps even using the light itself to charge them, like lumintop did with their GT3 Pro, that is USB C rechargeable power bank, powered by 21700s that can be replaced by the user within seconds.
Can give me omeππ
This looks like Utah! I have both versions of the X75 and itβs an absolute beast! Best value IMO. I got them Xmas (2023) one just under $300, the other just over $300. I may need to invest in the bigger battery, those numbers are impressive!
I need these as acting flood lights to get away from cops π
I am deaf in my right ear.. why on earth would you only talk out of the right channel in the important part??
Great but I hate when manufacturers add 200 LEDs to get brighter results. It becomes a matter of who can add more LEDs in one torch. No! show me how much can you make a single LED shine not cramp as many as you can and call it the brightest flashlight. It is like gluing two of the same one and call it 400,000 lumens.
Their not flashlights their daylight on another planet creators
Can you use the MS32 as a non lethal home defence tool?
I just got an MS18 for $276. Given the price, it is an incredible value. It may not be the best, but its going to be tough to beat at that price. I want an X75 or MS32 but theyre both so much more expensive. Maybe I will pick one or both of them up in the future.
typical!
they chose the shittiest fans.
what else would you use for the "worlds brightest flashlight"?
Supbeam x75 yep ππΌ
Although smaller than the other impressive power of MS12 Mini
Every brand flashlight here are Chinese companies. China is at the cutting edge of extreme performance flashlights.
lol. Peak design strap.
I’ll duct-tape a few of these to my Jeep’s roof and see how the cops like it
veey good comparison…
I recently purchased a flashlight from Amazon and became aware of a LOT of crazy claims about their lumen outputs; many claiming well over a million. This led to some research and brought me to this channel. I have neither desire nor need for a flashlight with the actual power of these devices, but now at least I know what truly has a right to make such claims based on actual measurements. Thanks!
I have the MS18 which I rarely even use, and then one day I take it out of storage and the indicator is already dead. Everything still works except now I have to use trial and error to know if I locked the device properly.
Out of the many popular flashlight manufacturers I also think acebeam makes the most durable high quality lights. Much of my collection is ace and I have a respectable amount of lights
Dont even bother trying to get the ms32 if you are in the UK right now, ive just been tru 2 weeks of hell going thru 3 ebay sellers 2 of them oficial imalent dealers & one third party, ive been messed about each time with them taking the money & then them saying that the light is not actually in stock & thers a month to wait.
Then ive had to wait 3 days for the money to come back from ebay each time. Ive given up, i cant find one for sale here, its a dam nightmare, ive wanted one of these for ages but its just to costly for me to import a one-off myself. If any one knows ANYWHERE in the UK i can get one ide be very greatfull.
You get my collection how comeπππ
The inly video I need to see to understand all I want about top flashlights. All videos I’ve seen before contain less useful information than this one. One wish – more detailed description of flood-worktime graphs.
Excellent review bro! π π π
Can you do one on flashlights that have warm white leds ?
It would be nice when you guys do these reviews to list a price so someone doesn’t have to go look them up individually
