This is a SOLID video. I’ve been looking for mics and this completely sold me. I’m torn between buying one off Amazon to give you the commission or buy the Wave 3. But this was hands down one of the best unbiased reviews I’ve seen.

I bought an k688 of aliexpress for around 30€ withouth a boom arm
Hiya, thanks for the review — at 2:59 you mention the noise isolation of the AM8 to be on top especially with loud family members, do you think that the K688 would be good for this as well, or is it something that is more prominent on only the AM8. I’m looking to get a K688 but do often have noise such as my PC fans or family members (especially with a 4 year old house) as well as the fact that my room is not very soundproof at all

idk why ppl like the k688 so much, it always had a muffled sound to it like some of the shure mics but yeah
My current microphone picks up eeeveerything.. like everything. Every little breath and background noise and birds in the garden lol, so I guess the quieter one would maybe be a good fit?
